    If you're ever on the fence about supporting the channel, this may tip you over my side, I had to do over 50 re-edits, re-renders and re-uploads on this video. Aniplex had the single strongest automatic claims I've ever witnessed, it took me literally weeks upon weeks of doing numerous re-edits every single day to finally get it through. So yes, it's a ton of work on top of a lot of work making the video already. If you'd like to support, you can do so using the links at the top of the description and I hope you enjoy!

    You kept not bringing it up so at win 55 where it is extremely notable... almost pixel by pixel; But this animes art so reminds me of Gantz that it blows my mind. I do not know animator names or anything but seriously 90% identical at least I swear. Those statues smiling is what clued me in and after seeing it I could not unsee it. By the By if you never saw that anime... Gantz is a level of its own in brutality and it will gut punch you for the practice of it... But let me tell you I am like 80% sure it single handle started the survivors game genre in anime. It certainly changed how I see the use "Good Morning" as something dreadful almost. Watch its 26 episodes and be prepared to hurt a lot. I love the story but feel horrible for both humans and non humans in it.

    Solo leveling remains among the few that was hyped out the dying yang yet never disappointed me. I mean MCwoo is next level action hero and he just keeps finding foes that are either worthy or that get under my my skin and MCwoo thrashes their ass for me. Wish Girlfriend lady was more of a badass and less of a damsel... but that is just a minor issue to me.

    Joohee bleeding from her eyes was less so from struggling to heal Jinwoo and more because she was out of mana. Also, with the spider boss, that was acid, not poison, as said in the episode. Huge difference. And he didn't break through the armor. He instead went for one of the eyes were as the first time he attacked the head he didn't.

    I honestly dont like how they did that though, i understand having side fluff to flesh out characters, but they kept randomly putting it in the episodes, inbetween high stakes fight scenes etc. It honestly was really immersion breaking a lot of the time, instead of having an insanely cool fight that keeps you on your toes like in the OG manwha you just randomly in the midst of it get cut to a 5 minute segment of characters talking and having fun about stuff that has nothing to do with the scenes before and after. I did really like the pace the setttled on in the last few episodes, but some of the stuff they added was just really weird overall idk (also i hated how early they brought up jeju island, it felt really unnatural to the pace to randomly put out info on that throughout everything)

  • @better_is_good

    @better_is_good

    Also really hated how little they showed the system/let the messages from the system be on screen to be read like the system is a HUGE part of the story for a long time, and we just barely get to read what it says. I know its hard because of screentime and all but its slightly frustrating having to pause and read everything just so you can get important info from it

    As a long time fan I have been looking forward to this series getting an anime adaptation, so glad to see it being done soo well. Sure some of the comedy had to be removed for the adaption but to me that actually helped the adaptation have a more realistic darker feel, though do hope some gets inserted back in season 2. I do like how the anime starts with the first Jiru island assault as it helps to tease top tier hunters, which helps to show early on the difference between hunters of different tiers. One final note the show is totally worth a rewatch in dub as Aleks Le's performance is top notch along with a great cast beyond that.

    I swear not to spoil anything as an avid manhwa and web novel reader, but this is just the beginning. There is a reason this anime is called the ultimate power fantasy by many. I find it funny how you mentioned AOT towards the end of the video there, because actually the person who composed this soundtrack is Sawano Hiroyuki, who made the soundtrack for Attack on Titan. The OST for the Statue that you were wondering about is called Symphonic Suite lv 8, like gaming levels. And then the song played during episode 6 as he is absolutely destroying Hwang Dongsuk and his team is called Dark Aria. There is even an official music performance video for it on Sawano's youtube channel. He released it on youtube minutes after the episode finished airing on crunchyroll

    Always do your dailies 😁👌 Here's the trick: Start with 1k to warm up, Then break up the sets 10 pushup + 300m 10 situps + 300m 10 squats + 300m Across the next 9k Then 10/10/10 to finish. The first awakening is the normal system that locks you at a rank. The extremely rare second awakening reassigns you to a higher rank.... Possibly, but you are still fixed. What is happening here to Jin Woo is entirely different. It is dealing with a Player, not a Hunter. The "Hunter rank sensor" probably doesn't detect "player" features. Leeet's GOOOOOO! System: "Do Your Dailies!" Sung: "Naaaahhh" System: "Alright sucka... bet... Time to Git Gud." Either a simple OPM Workout [Every Day] Or.... 😱💀4 HOURS of SPRINTING in SAND 💀😱 JooHee should be freaking out that he has a leg at all... even a prosthetic would not be "Run Ready" by now. Don't tell me how to build my build!! Jin Woo stacks STR like: Kazuma stacks LUC. Sunraku stacks DEX. Maple stacks DEF.

    My favorite thing about Solo Leveling is how it handles Jinwoo's... "Dehumanization" I guess you can call it? The gradual ascent, or descent depending on how you look at it, of him slowly becoming something more or other than human. Not just in the sense of him becoming so physically powerful it almost feels wrong to call him that, but also the slow shifting of his mental state, alongside his "humanity" slowly fading away as the system puts him through more and more adversity. A lot of stories that have the protagonist have a Gamer System or something similar tend to show how the MCs become more or less unfathomable to the other characters for one reason or another. Solo Leveling is the only one that I've seen do so over time instead of having the MC basically be like that more or less as soon as they get the System and all the characters more so just notice at different moments throughout the story.

Also why he started to act so reverential to Jinwoo, Jinho figured if he acted like a minion he wouldn't get killed for knowing Jinwoo's secret, eventually this misunderstanding is cleared up but it'll be a bit.

    I'm really hoping that the others who have experienced a Second Awakening will be featured in Season 2, because in all the other mediums none of them show up ... unless ... SPOILER ... ... the Second Awakenings occur when the other Monarchs possess their hosts. What I'd like to see is either the Monarchs trying to playact being human, or a human succumbing to the possession.

    Too bad the system is properly explained so far into the Manwha that I'd expect it to have to be season 4 or 5 before we get to know anything. If not later than that. Who knows if they go all the way. That said, the manwha kind of got silly by the end, I heard it's common for Korean stuff to be a little lost when it comes to power scaling as the story progresses, but then again Goku had the power to destroy entire planets, so classical stuff isn't exactly guiltless in that... But yeah, this anime is stupidly well done.

    I love Solo Leveling. I really do. And the fact it go an anime adaptation is super awesome. However.....after watching the anime adaptation I feel like many of the feelings and sensations you get out of the manga were lost. Don't get me wrong its fine as is. But the manga was amazing as far as I am concerned. In short it's a very good anime but it's just not as good as the manga. Anyone else feel that way?

    I can see where you're coming from. I have a brother that also says it's amazing but some scenes weren't quite what he wanted. I believe this is a very faithful version and considering the hype around this anime, and the effort that is shown to put in, this is a faithful adaptation that is also taking inspiration from the light novel. This to me was an amazing idea to just build up the world which was my biggest complaint with the manwha. Long story short I see where you're coming from, but I see this as a new slightly reimagined version that is still faithful to the original.

    If you think the voice actor’s performance was good hear just listen to tue English dub. You’d probably give that two max wins

    i think that the anime is below mid, compare it to like god of high school (they are similar, fast paced and fighting oriented), all you had to do is make us care about the main character...
