Sure he looks like he'd rather die, but up until now he has never even given him the chance to get close, slapping his hand away or backing up every time Endeavour tried. Ngl just seeing Deku and Bakugou on the boat together and bakugou nodding after Deku says that Katsuma can be a hero had me in tears Bakugou didn’t even remember the OFA transfer but still stood beside Deku both figuratively and literally in that moment and it really shows his growth as a character. And the series is still so far from being over, and I can’t wait for him and Deku to grow even more!

I cried out of excitement during their final fight, even though I got spoiled by myself because I'm an idiot who decided to read the characters entries in the wiki, and while checking Bakugou's, I accidentally saw he temporarily got One for All and was like, "Fuck!". But the fight was so cool I teared up anyway, making this the third time in my life I cried out of excitement, after All Might vs All for One and the final battle in Endgame.

I say a win you missed was after Bakugo did the first smash and he clenched his arm at the pain while deku ignore the pain showing how much is used to smashing up his arms

The reason the ending fight felt like an end to the series is because it was the original planned ending. Horikoshi reveal that in an interview Izuku would have given OFA to Bakugo during the final fight, but he used the idea for this movie instead

@@Zarastro54 well my personal theory is that 100% for deku isn't actually 100% of ofa but it's all he can conjure. as he get's stronger he'll be able to conjure more of ofa and by the end that 100% will be stronger than what it is now

@@lank5994 It's not a personal theory but it is practically confirmed. Look at Deku's 100% punch and compare that to All Might's 100% WITHOUT One For All and is injured. Despite all that, All Might's 100% is WAY stronger than Deku's. Deku's power is not that strong simply because he hasn't cultivated it enough.

My favorite part of the movie is when bakuguo gets injured using one for all and deku is just like “ suck it up wimp, we got ass to kick” Also, Deku: if I cannot do 2000 kicks then it is 3000 punches Props if you got the reference

@@samaelo9305 Shoto usually does call people by their name though, the only abnormality that he has in naming is that he usually forgoes honorifics (-san, -kun, -chan, etc), which is seen as a bit rude in Japan

Well, Bakugo was able to use One for All effectively immediately after he got it. It only shows that Bakugo in fact is much more experienced and that he got a stronger body and mind than Deku.

I find really cool that just like Mirio, deku was prepared to give up his quirk to save someone without hesitation , yeah he’s always been about self sacrifice, he was potential giving up his chance of becoming a hero so soon, as well as giving up what all might in trusted to him and what connects them. BTW the "GUY" he keeps on referencing is the animator YUTAKA NAKAMURA... He is responsible for deku vs todoroki, deku vs bakugo , the end of this movie and the first, and is a GOD among animation

The scream when Deku and bakugo get electrocuted by the lighting was NEXT LEVEL! The voice actors really brought out their voice there.

Alright, this movie gave special light to one 1A member: Ojiro. Yeah, he’s got his ass whooped in nearly every instance in the anime. And now, he 1v1’s a villain for multiple minutes that Tokoyami, Sero, Sato and Todoroki combined couldn’t beat. I’ve loved him since his intro, and this made him WAY cooler.

That “OH MY GOD THEYRE WORKING TOGETHER” was literally me when I first saw the movie. Might’ve actually stood up and cheered, along with the rest of the audience. Don’t remember too much of my own reactions after the waterworks got going.

I love it when Deku directly tells Katsuma that he can be a hero too. It's such a callback to how Deku was never told by anyone that he could be a hero (until he met All Might of course), which was something that caused lots of sadness for him. So by him telling that to Katsuma, he's making sure the kid knows that he can still be a hero, to give him more hope than Deku had ever had as a kid. It's just too much for my SOUL

Some people questioned how bakugo immediately was able to use one for all in the fight. The reason is most likely the blood to blood contact. When midoriya ate the hair, it took time for digestion to kick in. Blood to blood would spread the quirk to the body faster

He previously got impaled to protect Deku from an attack and still has a very fresh hole in his stomach from it, but he just doesn’t give a shit because he needs to make sure he’s okay. Mineta and Sato try to hold him back, but there is no stopping him. He says “That bastard is dead meat if he thinks he can die on me.”

Something I noticed recently is that most of the damage to his arms had been directed at his right arm prior to him starting Shoot Style. But his first 100% Smash in this movie was his left arm because it was the less battered one

I do it everytime.

To think that when I was in the theater, there was bakudeku fan girls behind me yelling "omg bakugo omg midoriya they're gonna kiss" the entire time and everytime all might showed up they told him to die. Like. I wanted to punch them because they never shut up but fortunately one guy yelled from the front. They are adult women and I feel embarrassed that I'm a teen and I have more hormone control. Other then that and getting my phone stolen that day I loved the movie flaws and all ❤

I gotta say, it’s actually impressive to have a character (and a student at that) who’s among the strongest of the MCs generation despite not being in the main secondary cast (Bakugo, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki) or a rival school (Inasa), and to actually do justice to that strength too. Tokoyami is probably among the strongest in all of UA (definitely in terms of raw physical strength), he just has very bad matchups in his class with Todoroki and Bakugo; were it not for them, he would stand out a lot more

0:38 actually there was a car chase sequence in Season 4 when the League of Villains attacked the police convoy escorting Overhaul away.

I cried during the last 30 min. The music, animation and overall feel. It really is the best anime final fight ive seen in any anime movie. Just the whole fight being with no sound effect but with REALLY beautiful music puts goosebumps on your entire body. Deku is easily the best protagonist ive ever seen.

Personally, I prefer this movie to the first. Maybe it’s because I’m a filthy manga reader but seeing so many little hints was a joy. I love All Might and his team up with Deku, but I also love seeing all of Class 1-A fight. As much as I love the first movie, only half of the class was even shown. This shows everyone get something to do. Even those not in the battle in the end are helping protect citizens. Also, Deku is peak Deku in this movie, just being a sweet, determined, inspiring, self-sacrificing, and ferocious guy who will do whatever he can to protect everyone. Deku is my favorite can you tell?

I would say the readers were definitely rewarded by easter eggs..we already know this

I’ve heard people hate about heroes rising for “no further development for the characters” But it’s suppose to be like that This movie puts their development, work, and sweat to the test

One of my headcannons is that Shigaraki loves flowers so when he disintegrates the dude he is very careful not to touch any of the flowers

I take the ending of Deku still having One For All as thus; clearly One For All is sentient at the very least and One For All found a perfect vessel for it in Deku. Like One For All judges and sees the potential in each candidate before accepting to stay with them. So, confusing point short: One For All wants to stay with Deku because he's perfect for it and believes after Deku becomes the greatest hero, they're won't ever be a need for more One For All candidates.

In addition to that, I have a theory about the quirk, maybe it has the ability to be shared with more than one person at the same time, implying the name "One For All", the same quirk for many, the perfect opposite to "All For One", many quirks for one asshole. No, the movie's timeline is after MVA arc because Shiggy had the artficial fingers which happened after he fought Re-Destro. The timeline is also before the Endavor Training Arc since Shiggy still haven't undergo his surgery.

I like how it broadcasts, "SAVE DEKU" and Bakugo instantly shows up...

That last fight when I was in the theater was an experience I will never forget. Everyone was silent meanwhile I was trying really hard not to scream my head off

The voices and sound effects cutting out for the final stage of Deku and Bakugo Vs Nine to give way for the music gave me huge Tanjiro and Nezuko Vs Rui vibes.

"...Endeavor, who clearly is way stronger than Dabi..." Yeah...totally...

In the manga it is shown that dabi talks ALOT just to buy time so he has more time to "recharge". More like cool down

He is. Endeavour is far more experienced, physically stronger and skilled. The only thing Dabi has over him is the heat of his flames and maybe AoE to an extent, and- (MANGA SPOILERS) -he has even worse problems than Endeavour when forced to use his quirk continuously.

11:00 I love how it is calling back to when todoroki refused to use his fire back in the beginning by showing that he needs more time to "warm up" than he needs to form ice

I actually almost cried in the end and got goose bump when i saw their power.

It hurt me that i can't tell you anime onlys what is going on in certain scene, also season 5 will be awesome, the manga is very far ahead and the current stuff is amazing but you guys wont see it until season 6. All i can say is that this movie was a sneak preview of what season 5 and 6 are going to be and that is that they will be amazing. Oh the quirk shiggy used was the same one that was used back in season 3 by afo to transport the nomu.

Since season 4 is my favorite season, I love seeing all the characters we were intoduced to in that season like Rock Lock, Hawks and the mention of my favorite shy boy Tamaki. Also the "You can become a hero" line makes me tear up every time!

When i saw this in theatres, the scene with bakugo and deku using one for all together had me crying all throughout.

I just finished watching this movie yesterday, and guess what? Everything about this movie is amazing. The Soundtracks, animation, CGI etc.

There are so many things that I loved about this movie. His reactions or wins was how I was basically reacting lol. I know I read that Izuku transfer OFA to Katsuki but when it happened it still was very emotional and the song, just wow I was tearing up. When Izuku said, "You can be a hero too," that broke me and I starting crying lol. I loved seeing basically all of 1-A shine in some way. I also loved how the little girl was a fan of Katsuki and the little boy was a fan of Izuku, they each have someone to cheer them on. Another thing I loved was how we got to see everyone's personality shine and still be here, like we know Izuku loved to analyze heros and stuff and we saw him create a plan to help fight these villians. As a manga reader now, I like the little hints to things that have happened or to come without spoiling it, just little things for people to think about. 21:16 This was so me watching this movie.

This movie overall was banging

Everything is amazing about this video.

when he gave away one for all I couldn't suspend my disbelieve, because I knew that there was no way in any universe that that would have long-term consequences, ruined the end for me

The solid air quirk is less like Gentle and more like that one guy in class 1-B

The final confrontation with Nine is eye candy for all ages

Honestly, the scene at the beginning with Endeavor and Dabi makes me realize just how similar their Quirks are and I really hope Horikoshi has some big reveal for Dabi's true identity planned for the manga. Hasn't been confirmed nor denied as of yet but I have a strong gut feeling that Dabi might actually be Touya, the oldest of Shouto's siblings, for those of you who don't recognize the name. *THIS IS ONLY SPECULATION NOBODY ATTACK ME FOR SPOILERS AS I AM NOT THE CREATOR OF THIS AMAZING SERIES NOR DO I HAVE THE ABILITY TO SEE INTO THE FUTURE. He's Endeavor's son!" mostly because of the fire quirk but then the Training Camp Arc happened and everyone was like "He's Todoroki's brother 100% true no fake" so the theories began and sort of became kinda canon for everyone to the point of joking if Horikoshi would troll us about the hole thing

@@COJ_mari yeah a lot of people say that mha is a box standard shonen anime nothing special...but they r missing the insane detail and consistency of the characters and the story (compared to something like naruto...which i actually like naruto but its a valid criticism) + it may be a box standard anime but it pulls off those traits really well

I’m so happy for the side character, like seeing this side of them fight till they drop is really moving. Everyone had a part and it was very satisfying. In the manga lots of them seem so useless the way they use thier quirks is reasonable and creative

I love how I can watch this video time and time again just to see bits and pieces of the absolute wonder that is My Hero Academia: Hero’s Rising

This movie was great! Really glad I saw it in theaters. And personally I feels it’s a bit shortsighted to think this movie is non canon because it doesn’t reference anything later in the manga but the thing is the villains and class 1A were the only ones on the island that was not near anyone else. In truth we really have nothing to say that this movie is canon or not. Also I don’t know your caught up with the manga. But all this is just my opinion. Ps. Glad you also caught that slime villain callback.

I don’t know if I’ve already commented this but this is the first movie that actually made me tear up. Just goes to show you how much I love this anime and its characters. Even when Deku gave One for All to Bakugo. Like I know that Deku wasn’t going to lose One for All, but it moved me. (Not just because of the music)

Me, who hasn’t been able to see it so is watching it this way: Let’s see, popcorn, blankets, BNHA hoodie, and... oh yeah, prepared to cry more than Izuku.
