Honestly, all of the movie-only characters are pretty awesome. David and Melissa Shield were great in Two Heroes. The two kids were great in Heroes Rising. Rody and Pino are great in World Heroes Mission. They feel so naturally part of this world, and not just tacked on as part of the movie. Melissa nd Rody in particular have enough character to them that they could star in their own series, and it might be good. They're so good that I wish they would show up as part of the main series.

Yeah, I thought his quirk was subtle and gave him super stamina or made him like captain America or something. Turns out he was borderline quirkless. This kinda just proves you can be a hero without a quirk. All you need is a gun and some skills then you're done.

My dude really saved the world and almost died It was so sudden too 🥺 He was just doing his normal thing at work and then all that happened to him

Love how in the mha universe people can get hit with full on explosions and not die but a gun causes serious damage

Rody was the best movie character and literally in my think top 10 for characters in the franchise he's funny and his design with personality are cool he really should be in the manga and anime or just maybe get his own spinoff:)

Rody soul has a quirk but sickass parkour style.

Rody is the fusion of bakugo if he was more calm like shoto(interest to deku), hawks if he had siblings (agility), shigaraki if he had no dangerous quirk, no parents and no all for one (gameover), it would be so cool to see him again at least in another movie as a pro plane pilot, or just let Midoriya mom adopt rody's siblings to let him have a life in canon idk TuT the rody deku relation is just so calm and wholesome I can't just forget about it.

@D em. incorrect. the manga is canon, anime is based off of canon, sometimes taking away or adding to it. movies differ from anime to anime, but in mha, movies are the canon divergence, since the progress made in it doesn't affect the base story (manga). otherwise we'd have an actual arc where we're concerned about deku's bones, and there'd be a lengthy conversation about what happened in the two heroes movie
