fighter: the only class that seems to have been made before putting limits on everything in pathfinder 2, in fact it is the only one that works
Small correction: You said Witch is arcane, their spell list is determined by which patron you choose. 👍

True. And the most popular ones I've seen are primal and occult. The religion one is rarely used from my experience
Fighter: you crit. Wizard: you cast spells. Thank you for your atention.
Hey man! I know it's been a tough couple of years for you, but I wanted to say that it's genuinely really nice to see you revisit Pathfinder! You were a big reason I got invested in PF2e. I hope that you're doing well.

And shield feats.
I know that the new Wizards school system is not very popular, but I think that Paizo will start showing the strength and diversity of this choice soon. According to a fairly recent post on the Paizo forums by James Jacobs, the new 'Prey for Death' adventure will have a special Red Mantis school included, among a number of other fun things. :)

I like the new wizard school system
Wizard will always be my favorite, rogue a very close second. I hope you're having as much fun making these videos as you seem to be because I'm certainly having fun watching you do PF2 content again!
Fighter gets Reactive Strike.
Hey man, so happy to have you back making videos. I absolutely love your content! One note, a witches' spell tradition is determined by its patron, not always arcane.

ye i think he got confused on how they are casters tied to int like wizards not that they are just arcane casters
"You don't wanna watch a 40 minute documentary" yes I do. I sleep to it.
Warpriest does absolutely not suck, it's arguably the strongest class in the game. For the Fighter I kind of expected "Reactive Strike at level 1", ngl. Also, I'd like to point out that getting heavy armor is kind of special.

War Priest feels bad. If you wanted a martial frontliner with some divine spells, I would recommend Champion. They rock that role so much better. The only thing a Wat Priest does better is having more spells, and if you liked divine spells, why not just go all the way with the Cloistered Cleric instead?
@chrizzlybear5565
Ай бұрын
@@guyman1570 Champions don't get proper spellcasting, they mostly just Lay on Hands. Clerics get the full spellcasting progression that any other caster gets (with lower proficiency, but that doesn't matter for large parts of the Divine spell list). Warpriests are tanky enough to fight on the frontline (heavy armor and better saving throw progression than cloistered) and will have the accuracy of a martial's second attack (or better at low levels) on top of their spellcasting (martials usually want to make two attacks, so a warpriest's attack + spell is totally fine). Whatever your party needs in each moment, a Warpriest can supply pretty much all of it, especially if they invest into athletics (SwingRipper made a funny build video on that).
4:44 And thus began the greatest 60 seconds on KZread today. Not gonna lie, I was watching to see just how hard you were gonna commit to his one. 🤘🤘
Idk what others are talking about, i feel like you were really indepth on the fighter
It didn't narrow it down it made me want to play more classes. Specifically, the druid and the rogue.
3:31 you forget one of the biggest draw of the cleric: font of healing. 5 heal spells at highest level just for being a cleric. Not only it makes the cleric the best healer in the game, it is still the best healer in the game even without any investment
Kudos! i didn't belive you will commit to a joke for so long!
Swashbuckler: Do cool things and MURDER. Also dominate social scenarios. It's a great class for TTRPG newbies

It will be now. The main issue with it was how to gain Pinache and how it was more focused on advanced strategic maneuvers, but with the new Trait (Bravado), they have other ways to get the Pinache until they get used to the gameplay.
I don't want to be picky, I know you had little time to express yourself about the fighter, but they also have the opportunity attack
It’s great to see you back NoNat. Your pathfinder content is the bed on KZread in my opinion. Also after running the first book in Abomination Vaults I can confirm your fighter analysis is spot on
Thanks for the video, NoNat! This was a lot of fun. I want to try a Thaumaturge because I've always wanted to play a monster/demon hunter that studies a ton of lore and hordes a bunch of trinkets. I hope you're doing well. Enjoy watching your PF content.
Hey, here a rogue fan! Specially new players, be careful when playing rogues. Even the bunch of skill feats and skill increases, as well as its very unique subclasses makes the rogue one of the most fun classes to play (as they can be almost anything you imagine), you MUST take into account that are one of the most squishy martial characters, as they have 2hp less by level than ranger or fighter. Because of that, you need to be carefull when engaging in combat as you would mostly want not to get focused, or you would fall quick.They also have their armor expertise progress a little worse (level 13 instead of level 11), buts that is just a 2 level issue out of 20.
You forgot automatic Attack of Opprtunity for Fighter ^_^
YES!! Finally. Something I needed! Thanks Nonat. A summary is exactly what we need.
Love to see you back nonat ^_^
Welcome back! We’ve missed you. Loved this video and look forward to more of these.
Druid will forever be my definition of "perfectly average", and not in a bad way. They're pretty much equally ok at everything in the game.
i am so happy you're back to making pathfinder videos!
Warpriest definitely doesn’t suck post remaster, they get a couple new feats including an option for heavy armor(as well as the general feat being buffed) and raise symbol which if put on a shield can gave you a plus 2 to saves as well as armor class for one action. There’s also the update to divine font which especially benefits the warpriest since they’re already so MAD and now can pump up their wisdom to actually be effective with spells without having to limit their divine font or neglect wisdom to pump charisma and focus on buffs and heals exclusively
Paused video, looked at Tier List and found out it's outdated regarding remaster and will be outdated again in a few months. Me now pressing play again... (BTW: Still a PF1e Barbarian Level 8, first two PF2e remastered books are already on my desk.)
I got introduced to pf2e via Ranger. So I will always have a soft spot for that class. Right now have group and playing Thaumaturge in Strength of Thousands. It is a freaking blast. Thaum is such a cool concept. Cant wait to see if thaums will get some love in playercore 2
Soooooooo good to have you back.
So good to have you back! Missed you!
Fighter’s one of my favorite classes. Master of all weapons and armor, with legendary skill with their choice picks, and such a massive feat tree they don’t need a subclass. Yes, they will crit often, even at level 1. But that’s because of their inherent warskill. And I know that was a joke, dammit!
I would love a follow up for the other classes

i think he forgot to mention there are more than 8 classes
The number of times I went to turn my timer off during this video was crazy. It was every.
Great, another person underselling the fighter.
Cleric got some major support with Player Core, with a lot of new interesting Feats that also makes Warpriest a solid option. You aren't quite the same point as dedicated martials proficiency-wise, but your spells should more than make up for that.
Ahhh, Double Dash, great game and way underestimated in the Mario Kart line-up
I respect your commitment to the bit on Fighter xD
Hell ya Nonat fuck the haters.
Hurray, Nonat's back! Lost track of you for a bit and was getting worried; hope all's wells.
Take my upvote for making me laugh in a way I didn't realize I needed!
Druid=best Spy in the game
So glad you are back.
This was both entertaining and informative!
the fighter! you critically hit 👁️👄👁️
"The Rogue will be better at religion than the Cleric" - Maybe that's why they didn't join the clergy...
@Nonat1s If you ever do the additional classes (like Oracle, etc) in this format, it'd be fun to keep a counter for the number of takes it took to say under 60 seconds.
I'm using PF2 Remaster to write a story and one of my main characters is a Silence in Snow Witch. I've flavored it so that he takes in heat from around his surroundings so he's never cold but the area around them is.
You should turn each of these into their own KZread shorts video so we can share individual descriptions easier.
Finally learned how to play PF 2e and playing a leshy rogue and loving it!
Welcome back there guy!
I love that a minute doesn't seem like a long time until you're not saying anything
Not enough mention of Crits! My day is immeasurable ruined. Thank you for your time
On side note I do find it depressing that the fighter is the butt of every content creators joke. Cause it's my favorite class
i watched this only to hear what you would say about the fighter... i was not disappointed :)
Now to wait for the advanced classes
Fighter = town guard and done. No need for a minute.
What a time
It was actually really useful 😊 I think I will use this video for my new players. Just to get a glimpse of the classes. Do you think you could do the same with the more advanced classes ?
Most of them were good, but I feel like I didn't learn much about what a rogue *does*, aside from being good at skills
Definitely do this again for Player Core 2 when it comes out.
Your backdrop is real classy.
Looking forward to that NPC gallery when it comes out. Idk if I’ll purchase the Almonac, but I’ve been dying for some more NPCs
Cleric got quite a few cool feats with the remaster you should check them out! I laughed way too hard AT the fighter 🤣🤣 Also witch CAN use the arcane tradition but that depends on their patreon
Outwit also buffs AC against your prey.
Only went over on a few, nicely done. Fighter was perfect. No notes.
Your information on the witch was wrong, they are spell. List is based on the patriot they choose.
Fighter meme still alive!
You are using the same sound as my alarm sound. I keep looking at my phone...
Gotta do this for Player Core 2 when it comes out
That's how you gonna do fighter? Take your like and have a wonderful day!
This was very helpful! Another thing I'm struggling with as a new PF2 GM is finding ways to bring the none-core classes over. Is the Errata for the summoner/magus enough? or do I need to make some homebrew changes?
@ColdNapalm42
Ай бұрын
The errata for them is enough. They aren't getting updated beyond that. We'll other than future errata.
the fighter: Bonk
Someone wants to make a buncha shorts.
i think he forgot to mention there are more than 8 classes
Will you do the rest of the classes after the remaster?
Very nice😂
Wait the new core doesn't have Sorcerer or Alchemist?
@mikaelious9550

Player Core 2 does! It should be coming this July. Along with alchemist and sorcerer, it brings remasters for: barbarian, champion investigator, monk, oracle and swashbuckler.

@@mikaelious9550 ngl it's kinda sad that you need so many books to get all of the content But at least it's available for free online lol

Hilarious! One real question. If you pick witch and an intelligent foe targets and kills your familiar. Are you basicly gimped until the next day?
@lasselippert3892
18 күн бұрын
No. Your familiar's death doesn't affect any spells you already have prepared.
Question for u my friend : With the addition of news ancestries such as minotaur are there any positives for being large. I have problemu at creation stage bc of the cost of items for me. There id note a lot of stuf for 15 go total for them.
@mikaelious9550
Ай бұрын
So first of all, as far as I know, you can get starting equipment at base cost for a large ancestry! I can't remember where it was said, but there was a note somewhere that said smth like "because you grew up around others of your size, you have access to Large-sized equipment for the default price". Secondly, being large does have some advantages. Namely, your area of influence on the battlefield. Without reach, a Small/Medium character can affect 8 tiles, while a Large character can affect 12 tiles. With a reach weapon, a Small/Medium character can now affect 8 + 16 = 24 tiles, while a Large character can affect 12 + 20 = 32 tiles! There's a noticeable effect, which will come into play especially with emanation effects. Finally, being of a Large size means it's harder to get past or Tumble Through you. You also get protection against some effects; Trip, for example, can't affect creatures more than one size above the user, so a Small enemy couldn't use it on you!

I couldn't find the rule about starting eq do thank u for saying that. Secondly i know about the tiles exept i font think its advantage, i have survived a lot of fights bc i was able to Gate block enemies and force them to fight 1v1 ( i didnt leave my team... They died eaven tho i helped) so that's a trade for me, it has a + and a -. But thanks for help, mainly for the clarification on starting eq.
Next do archetypes
Hi from Brazil
You didn't mention Cleric's best feature; divine font which is 4 FREE heal spells at lv 1. Shame.
Wait, did I miss something, or did he skip over ones like Monk and Sorcerer?
@lasselippert3892
18 күн бұрын
Monk and sorcerer havn't been remastered yet. They'll be in Player Core 2 (should be released this month I think).
I like beans 👍 (feeding the algorithm)
i dont know if i should give a thumbs down or up solely just for the disrespect for fighter even tho i get it🤠
I am a little disappointed. From the title I thought you were going to sum them all up in one minute. Not one minute each, one minute total. Part of the reason why this would be so funny is that I normally watch on 2x speed.
👏👏👏

Ай бұрын
@@guyman1570 the system I'm making is a 2D10 system and it's actually better to get 2 nat 1s then a 1 and a 2. When rolling doubles you get luck that can be used for various things. I like tactics and chaos leading towards wanting a more controlled chaos feel for rolling the dice. You don't really control when you get luck but it's a resource that you control when and how it's used
First. BOOYAH. Whats up no nat!!!
Fighters are walking crit generator. They get access to +3 and +4 aid before anyone else outside of gunslingers. They can make things feared, off guard, prone and grabbed with attacks. Yes, the +2 accuracy makes them crit...but that isn’t as powerful as giving your channel harm cleric a +4 to hit while making the critter they are gonna hit grabbed and fear 2. Fighter are not damage dealers past the first few levels.
I mean, if you weren't gonna go hard on explaining the fighter, you shoulda gone in harder on the bit. lol
For each Like I crit!

Real crash course for those who want a fighter summary and not a meme, let me explain and it will make the meme nake more sense as well. Fighter: the Bob, the Dave, and the Tom of classes, fighter is known as the 'weapon guy' class. What it lacks in class features it makes up in being generally good at fighting, having the best training in every weapon in the game giving a +2 to hit basically as a passive, which means more hits and more importantly, more crits. Their feats allow you to make any weapon build work and their high armor and Opprotubity Attack being built in gives you a LOT of battlefield control. Just be used to not being as OP in roleplay scenarios. TLDR: You crit. Feats. Ye.
