Brilliant! I've been saying this for years, these films practically write themselves. You forgot the obligatory trip to choose a Christmas tree and the ice skating bit where one of them skates rings round the other one wobbling along and they end up supporting each other and giggling and then kiss. It also helps to have one who doesn't believe in Christmas and the other one is obsessed to the point of insanity. Oh yes, and someone always has to bake 'Christmas cookies with their grandma's secret recipe'! I've noticed a thing about American movies is that they do like a cliché. My favourite one is that apparently every single American has a cabin in the woods that their grandad built with his bare hands, or at least access to such a cabin at very short notice. It is so taken for granted that they all call it simply 'the cabin'
