the girl in the video must've went through hard time in her life, you can tell through the video, i wish her well and i hope she's in a better place now. also Evanescence's music changed my life, i grew up listening to them, every song they released i can relate to and helped me through different situations, Amy's sings like an angel you can feel the pain through her voice.....their music will be with me till the day i die

This is actually the first song by Evanescence I listened to and I was paying more attention to the video than the music. I've always known who the artist was but just never listened to her songs. Whoever captured these angles and kept the pace of camera work is simply amazing. I can honestly say it is the best music video I have ever viewed, and I never listen to Evanescence.. This was done by a professional, whether people realize it or not. This was done by a true film maker because He/She caught the most compelling screen shots. I am now officially an Evanescence fan too. I replayed the song right after the first, and then I felt how beautiful it was. Not much music out there that is true talent like this. Like one other person said in a comment. If you don't like the video, just listen to the song. The only conclusion I can come to why people would insult the female and video. Envy. Its a great song and freakin amazing custom fan made. Well done.

This is the song I listen to every time something horrible happens. I plug in my sound-canceling headphones and turn this song up. Amy's lyrics speak to my heart, and they've changed my life. If I didn't have this song...or this band...or this singer...my life would be meaningless. I can't wait for the new album. I know I will be pleased.

This is one of my favorite videos.

I remember this video from YEARS ago, and always loved it. Though it hurts even deeper, now, due to the person in the video bears a striking resemblance to the best friend I ever HAD....They slowly ghosted me, over a period of around 5 years, until I finally made the decision to respectfully end it, while thanking them for the best years of my life.

This song was like my theme song afew years ago. Brings back memories.

2018 the best song ever

Amy has always helped me get through sad times in life with her beautiful songs and I love her for that. I can't believe this is the first time I'm hearing this song though, I have been a big fan of hers for many years. I actually cried a little, she has a way of pouring her heart in soul into these master pieces. I am hurting so much right now, this is just what I needed.

i really really love this song. it reminds me of my "former" bestfriend. something happened between us that made me feels alone. i felt like ive been betrayed. i dont know where to run, where to go, or where to lean on. and after i listen to this song, i really wanted to cry cause my past keeps on hunting me. thats when i realized, im not alone after all. i only felt that way because i CHOOSE TO BE ALONE .

I've been listening to this song over and over it means alot been keeping me strong Amy Lee's voice is so delicate I love her so much shes such a strong person and she keeps all off her fans strong too ❤❤

CountryButterfly, please, I am an older person and have had loads of tragedy my life, the latest only a little over two years ago. THAT one almost killed me and when it didn't, I contemplated suicide for the first time, but things got better, a lot better than, of course, another BIG let down just recently. It's life. You just need to find some help in whatever form that is, except in substance abuse, that just makes it worse, then you still have the original pain, plus an additional problem. Please get help, sweetie, there is so much beauty in the world if you know how and where to look. But you have to be open to it and when you are in such pain, it is hard to. I recommend counseling, there is even sliding scale if you do not have much money. Also something called a DBT class, it's great. Maybe a diet change, There are lot's of options, you are not alone. And listening to great music is oh so good, but maybe more upbeat stuff for now?

Evanescence is a very talented band T_T. Whenever I was sad, angry, or paranoid.. listening to them either brought me down to tears of joy or a sane mind. They truly are a help... They're songs are powerful in their own way :).

You're very rude you know. Sometimes you have to be more understanding and respectful of other peoples beliefs. We spend a lot of time telling others to accept and treat others nicely and that it's okay to be different; but no. You cannot handle one comment that didn't agree with you. I just had to make a youtube account and comment on this video, i noticed that girl was brave enough to express her feelings with this song, i dont know where she is and what she is doing but i know regardless on her looks she fits a perfect actress, and those who just HAD to comment on her looks just don't deserve to be alive, they're just a waste of air, Evanescence is a band who opened our at least my eyes to the truth and this was actually my frist time listening to this song and i LOVED IT.

I have been in such a dark place For at least the last 7 years That's pretty much the only song I listen to it helps me make it through every day I wish i could meet Amy Lee and give her a huge hug and tell her how much this song means to me thank you so much for writing this song
