I think songs of Evanescence tells that sadness and suffering are integral parts of human life but it is weird that their music gives some kind of relief to me in most depressing moments.

De Morte Tape "Lies" is one of their best songs, but Fallen is great too. Being an Evanescence fan (I assume you'd consider yourself that considering the praise you've given "Lies") who doesn't like Fallen would be like a Suzanne Collins fan who only likes the Underland Chronicles and not The Hunger Games.

So much respect for this music and the singer..amy Lee has stolen my heart since the first time I've seen being me to life on MTV and ever since my life is hers..

Amy Lee's voice is dark and beautiful. It is like a fallen angel, darkness overwhelming it, yet holding immeasurable beauty inside of the simple tones and words. The lyrics themselves hold more meaning than every modern song combined. These words came straight from the heart, straight from the soul. The meaning is so... beautiful. Dark. Amy Lee, like me, sees straight to the heart of what's going on, sees past the illusions that humans put up, sees into the darkness rather than the painted image humanity puts up. Incredible does not describe it. Nothing can describe the meaning, the tangible meaning behind it, especially to those who understand.
