I have been struggling with this myself. I am being led by myself and I feel the lack of closeness with the spirit of God. I am in deep desperation! I want to be restored with God . He didn’t move away. I’m guilty of laziness in reading the word. I need to surrender myself to God. Please pray for me

Hey SL I believe grieving the Holy Spirit is when you willfully ignore His promptings, wilfully engaging in sinful activities, or i think the worse could be not believing in Jesus and His death and resurrection. The great thing about being led by the Spirit, in Christ there is never any condemnation only confirmation of your sinning. All or any condemnation you feel is from Satan trying to convince you of your unworthiness etc. Respect Satan as he is the most dangerous being on earth. Ŵhen working in a dangerous job, you wear protective clothing etc to keep you safe. You need the protection of the Holy Spirit in Christ to keep him from influencing your decisions. Christ defeated Satan in the desert and on the cross. We have the same protection if Christ through the Holy Spirit lives in us. What a wonderful saviour God Jesus we have

Jesus said all sins will be forgiven except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. The gospel of mark clarifies what it is. 28 “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”- 30 for they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.” Verse 30 explains it

Fear tactic of the devil, fight against it with scripture. Remember that God said He will finish what He started in you. The devil will try to wear you down so you think your no longer acceptable to God and give up. Don’t give up!!! Keep praying, keep trusting in God.

Praying. I know this might sound silly. But nutritional deficiencies also contribute to anxiety and stress

God is not chastening you when you are falling short. You have a wrong fatherly image of God. The Kingdom works the opposite of the secular world. God says, if you believe in your new birth (born again, new creation) you will walk in the freedom of the authority in Luke 10:19, your new Identity in Christ Jesus go find online, 90+ scriptures you can printout and print...mediate speakout every day, Ephesians 6.

If you were sinning and didn't care that you sinned, the Spirit of God isn't in you. Because you are aware that you are a sinner and want to live to please God just confirms you belong to the Lord. We are all full sin even after being saved, that is where sanctification comes in. He is constantly working in us to be like Christ.

Who Is Jesus the Christ? Your Question Will Be Answered Today, if you take the time to read. Amen! I love you Lord! Jesus The Messiah (Yeshua Ha Mashiach). Christ is our Living Passover(Our Living Sacrifice). *Acts Chapter 4 verse 12: "There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.”* Isaiah 9 vs. 6, "For unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, *Mighty God*, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.“ The Virgin Birth Christ, born of a virgin, Mary. Matthew Chapter 1 verse 20: "Behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him (Joseph), in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for that (Christ) which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." Jesus, the Christ, is God’s Word made into flesh. 1 John chapter 5 verse 7: "*For there are 3 that bear a record in heaven, The Father, The Word(Jesus), and the Holy Spirit: and these 3 are one*.” John chapter 1 verse 1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the *Word was God*." John chapter 1 verse 14: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John chapter 1 verse 10: "He was in the world, and the world knew Him not.” Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12: ”For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” John’s Vision Of Christ Seated On His Throne In Heaven: Revelation chapter 4 verse 2 to 3: "Immediately, I (John), was in the Spirit, and behold a throne sat in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.” Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us? Because through Adam’s disobedience, sin and death entered the world, and all human race. Christ came to undo the sin and eternal death brought upon the world through the sin of Adam. Christ, who is God’s Word made into flesh, sacrificed His life for us. He was crucified for our sins and transgressions. Christ died, and on the third day He resurrected in the flesh, conquering death and the grave. Now, Christ is seated in Heaven, at the right hand of Power (God the Father). Through Christ’s sacrifice we gain Salvation through God’s abundant mercy and grace. We are reconciled and recompensed back to God, through the shed blood of His begotten Son, Christ Jesus. John chapter 3 verse 16: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” Romans chapter 5 verse 8: "But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Death in Adam, Life In Christ: Romans chapter 5 verse 19: "For as by one man’s (Adam’s) disobedience, many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s(Jesus's) obedience, many will be made righteous.” Romans chapter 5 verse 18: "Therefore, as through one man’s (Adam’s) offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even through one Man’s (Christ’s) righteous act, the free gift came to all men, resulting in the justification of life.” Romans chapter 5 verse 17: "For if by the one man’s offense (Adam’s offense), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in the life through the One (Jesus Christ)." Romans chapter 5 verse 12: ” Therefore, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” Romans chapter 5 verse 21: “So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Through Adam, sin and death entered the world, so that is why Christ Jesus came to give life, and give it more abundantly. Yes, Christ came to give eternal life through Salvation. The Salvation of His shed blood, and resurrection. Adam’s flesh brought sin, death, destruction, and condemnation. 1 Corinthians 15 : 21-22, “For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, all shall be made alive.” Christ’s sacrifice, the crucifixion of His flesh, brings reconciliation of sins, resurrection, eternal life, salvation. Christ is coming back again, not as a sacrificial lamb. He is coming back as a roaring, warring lion, to destroy sin, death, and the grave once and for all. Amen! Halleluyah! Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 to 13: "And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.“ Now do you see friends, why Christ Jesus is so Important for our Salvation? Yes. Now, do you understand why there is only 1 way to God, and that is only through Christ Jesus? Yes. Christ is Salvation. Christ is our Lord and Saviour. Christ is the only way to God. Christ is the only Mediator between God and men (us humans). God loves us so much, He does not want anyone to perish in hell. God wants all sinners to be saved. That is why He sent His Word to save the world. God’s Word became flesh, and dwelt among us to save us. Will you accept Christ and be saved? Your eternity depends on it. What happens after death is what is most important. Where will you spend eternity? Death is only the beginning of the next life. Romans chapter 6 verse 23: ” For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” John Chapter 3 verse 16: ” For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” Salvation is free! Christ already paid the price, all you have to do is receive salvation through acceptance of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach. So who is Christ? He is the Word Of God made into flesh. He is the Son of God. He is God. He is the Image of the Invisible God. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Beginning and the End. He is the Great I Am. He is Emmanuel. He is the Christ. He is the Messiah. He is the Creator. He is our Lord and Saviour. He is our Mediator. He is the Lion and the Lamb. He is the Rock not cut out by human hands. He is the Root of David. He is Salvation. He is the Way, the Truth, and Life. He is the blessing promised to Abraham. He is the Gift of God to the whole world. God created the heavens and the earth with His spoken Word. Did you know that Jesus is that Word, through which all things were created? Yes. John chapter 14 verse 6: "*Jesus said to him,” I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me*.” Colossians chapter 1 verse 15 to 16: "*He(Christ) is the Image of the Invisible God*, the Firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” John chapter 1 verse 1 to 4: "*In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men*.” Christ is for all who will receive Him. Will you receive Him today? This is how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said we should pray. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9 to 13: KJV “Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Now that you understand who Christ is, share Christ with others. Christ is The Good News. What do we do with good news? We share it. Amen! Repent of your sins. Leave a lifestyle of sin. Sin no more! Be baptized in Jesus Name. Submit to God. Love God with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Keep God’s Commandments, (read Exodus 20: 1- 17, see the 10 Commandments of God). Love one another. Forgive one another. It is written, “resist the devil, submit to God, and the devil will flee from you.” Hate sin with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. * Hebrews 10: 26, KJV, " *For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins*." Acts 11 vs. 15 to 16, ” And as I began to speak, The Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, “John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Psalm 68, verse 4 KJV: " *Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, by His name Yah, and rejoice exceedingly*." Halleluyah! Lord Jesus, The Living Water! I repent of all my sins. Baptize me, with your Holy Spirit! Please write my name in Your Book of Life. You are my Lord and Saviour, from now on, and for ever. Never leave me, nor forsake me. I belong to You. I forsake this world, sin, and all worldy distractions. I make you priority in my life. I went a year with not saying one cuss word. I’ve always struggled with drinking. I started drinking again and I cuss almost everyday 😢 I also now have to catch myself from gossiping. Every time I go to church I get the refreshment from the Lord and feel a fresh start, but after the second day choose to buy alcohol again. I don’t know what to do. I did AA and I’m picking up the habit of reading His Word at least once a day. Anyone else struggle with this before? What did you do to get off alcohol. I feel as though if I quit drinking, being a saint in all other areas will be easier. Im praying. to be worthy one day.

• Exercise every day. • Work on your emotional health, through journaling or meditation. • Explore a wider variety of foods & drinks. • Avoid people who partake in what you're wanting to get away from. All this helped me to finally quit smoking & over-consuming alcohol.

You are not cut off you must reject those thoughts. You must truly take a hold of God's word and believe it. This is how I overcame the same thing your going through. You cannot grieve the holy Spirit through ignorance nor is grieving the holy Spirit the unforgivable sin. Jesus is waiting for you.

Hi do you mean prayers from other ppl or prayers individually??

I struggle with both lethargy, however I am given revelation and I hunger for and read the Word. I struggle in my life's situation, being completely crushed, and having been torn to being stretched because of being pulled to and fro between my flesh and spirit; living in a place of no external spiritual nourishment; having no spirit lead friends IRL who I can easily see, thus my flesh begins to hunger where the spirit can't take dominion over, by flesh doesn't know what it is it does, and so the spirit is left grieving with the flesh. In essence, my flesh and spirit have begun to confer and agree about the harshness of my situation, a situation that nobody but me understands; I couldn't finish school, I can't get a job, nobody wants me or needs me, I am nothing but a useless eater, and all I am left with is myself. I am beyond alone, and this is no longer a season of being in coming upon understanding, but instead I am perpetually alone, my flesh burns for passion that it cannot have because nobody wants me, nor do I want to feed it yet it starves, and so often now I just don't know what to believe in anymore.

I was doing something I knew I shouldn't have been doing, after repeatedly being told directly by the holy spirit to stop, and I just couldn't seem to not give into that temptation, and that last time I did (this was a few years ago now), it was raining when I did it last time and God was ANGRY. I mean MAD. Lightning struck outside my window, shook the glass and walls and my whole body. I freaked out and sat down in the floor in the dark and started talking to God. I can't remember the exact questions I asked at this point but I asked a question and lightning struck out my window a 2nd time, just as powerful as the first. I asked a final question and lightning struck outside my window a 3rd time, this time sparks started flying out of my electrical outlet. I stated praying and let me tell you I have been obedient since then. You only need to fear God when you are doing something you shouldn't do, and when the time comes, he is to truly be feared. I been through a lot but I was never as rightfully terrified as I had been in that moment. (Yahweh is known to be a God of lighting so I knew exactly who was pissed at me) Its not easy to make God mad, he is slow to anger. But if you do... be terrified.

I did make some pretty wild claims last year, I made this assumption which I know is not true but I foolishly said that I was the Holy Spirit last year. Not because I genuinely thought so but because I was trying to connect the dots between spirituality and other religions, I feel God's grace when I mention this which I am so grateful for. Last year I was scrambling to draw conclusions desperately trying to figure out the truth without any intention of trying to take over any absolute power unless it was within the will of God. It seems like such a spiritual gamble trying to figure out the truth Because if you delve and Dabble too deep without any type of discernment you could end up being misled into Eternal damnation without even realizing, but then again I am so grateful for his grace and I'm glad that this video popped up because I did need to think that over.

If it wasn't for the Lord in my life, it would be a complete mess. He has saved me in so many ways, especially from myself.

I am not being facetious when I say that I'm seriously confused. I thought that ALL sin grieves the Holy Spirit, yet despite trying to live holy lives we do sin, some more than others. I know people who backslide. The title of this video alone strikes fear in the fact that it says 'Eternal Danger." What is the 'eternal danger' being referred to in the title? Am I in eternal danger if I have grieved the Holy Spirit? If so when does that happen? Have I grieved the Holy Spirit every time I feel out of favor with God? I personally do not believe in a works based salvation, but yet I see many people worrying that they have grieved the Holy Spirit. Like I said, color me seriously confused.

LORD forgive me

For me the challenge is that my life took a turn that was so disappointing and discouraging…I don’t feel like God cares or has any real use for me as a person. As a result I find it difficult to trust God and I’m extremely cynical.

How do you deal with a bottled rage from childhood onwards in emotional and physical abuse and always having to bottle it because you know it will harm those around and yourself and the mind only has memories of such that drives the anger. Brings me to shaking and tears trying to fight the emotion, praying and the book helps but the last few weeks have been hard, the last trigger was the landlord denying the last rent payment and all past memories of injustice come flooding back. You can't hide from your own memories and can't go to family because all I knew was hate from jealousy and it hurts. I trust the LORD with my life and HE has done me good but this has been getting worse of late and it scare me.

Thank you for your ministry. It is a blessing for many of us. But I wish that many of you good pastors were a bit more circumspect. Some of us do not have the benefit of constant fellowship with other believers and continual study of God's word. Some of us have jobs that keep us immersed in the cesspool of this world. Believers who chose law enforcement officers and other first responder professions to make society tolerable don't get much realistic counsel from ivory tower theologians.

Grieving ==Try going to the day of the dead parade and get it all out of your system == to feel or express great sadness, especially when someone dies: grieve for/over He is still grieving for/over his wife.

This video says it was from three days ago, but the content indicates this was recorded during the covid lockdown.

If God has planned nothing can change this. If you loose anything it's all by design. It's all a script. If you are supposes to do something you think you can derail GODS plan and GRIEVE Holy Spirit? If so that's weak ...nothing so weak is in my interests. As i see it... if something like that does not last and pass ...it was not from GOD, but a counterfeit. A trap.

What about when you have a little bit of every emotion and action on both sides? Half spirit led half flesh?

St John 16:8 says when Holy Spirit is come He will reprove the world of sin. What is sin? 1 John 3:4 is the transgression of the law. Therefore a person only receives the Holy Spirit is they are obedient to the Commandments of God, thou shalt not steal etc etc etc. If anyone disregard the Commandments of God Rev 12:17, 14:12 He cannot be sealed by the Holy Spirit!

Exactly nailed it. The scripture says that they stand before the throne and learn a new song and follow the lamb wherever he goes but it does not mention one place that they ever preached the Besorah (gospel) . He is adding that into the scripture which we are warned not to do. Not even the angel that it mentions after that going through all the Earth preaching that the wrath of The wrath of YAHUAH has come. that angel doesn't preach the gospel repentance and forgiveness it is a warning and The testament to all that remained of what is coming.b

Salvation is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast. You try to be good because you don’t want to disappoint God. All the books in the Old Testament and in the New Testament up until Romans was written to the Jews under the kingdom plan, faith plus WORKS This was before the crucifixion. We are under Grace, faith plus NOTHING. IF WE COULD BE JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, THEN CHRIST DIED IN VAIN.

Contrary to your take, the Holy Spirit is not a third person, so that no trinity exists. Jesus receives the Holy Spirit at His baptism, the Holy Spirit is thus inside Him, but who is He? No problem, Jesus reveals who actually is inside Him: "the Father who DWELLS in me." Jesus even further specifies that ONLY THE FATHER is inside Him ("Yet I am not ALONE because the Father is with me") i.e. just the Father is with Jesus. Therefore the Holy Spirit must necessarily be the Father, i.e. it's just a different name for the SAME Father. Jesus further CONFIRMS that the Holy Spirit actually is THE FATHER in his sermon concerning the TWO blasphemies: if the first mentioned blasphemy is directed to the Son, the second one must necessarily be directed to the Father. However, you can see that also in this sermon the name "Holy Spirit" is used to identify the Father. If you learned that "Holy Spirit" is just a DIFFERENT name for the SAME Father, this of course implies that the Father must be "A SPIRIT"!!! That also is fully confirmed by Jesus, who explicitly says that the "Father is a Spirit" (see Jn. 4:23,24). The Father is thus called "Father," "Holy Father" "Holy Spirit" by Jesus...equivalent names. In fact God is transcendent, absent, and therefore does not "personally" perform His actions here on Earth or in heaven ("nobody has seen God at any time" "the world has not known you"). You can check it out in the gospels: you can see that there are NO ACTIONS PERSONALLY performed by God. Rather, such actions are taken here by Him in his "form of Spirit", who is called "Holy" by Jesus. In this form the Father was responsible for Mary's pregnancy, helped Jesus on His journey in the wilderness, later also helped Him in speaking, later He was helping the apostles too. Jesus simply is together with that Spirit who is the Father, called "Holy Spirit". Period. TWO PERSONS, no trinity exists. The Spirit of course comes from the absent God, the One who, alone, actually makes the God's decisions. In fact "being a spirit" means that NOBODY is here so that no decision is made here.

Not on sin sin sin. - we have been transformed by the renewing of our minds which means we have a close relationship with Him and are eager to follow Him. I have a question? The scriptures speak of 144,000 sealed of the 12 tribes of YASHER'EL,12,000 from each. Where does it say or even mention that they will be preaching the Besorah to those in the tribulation?? The only thing I find in Scripture refers to them being sealed and standing and learning a new song singing that before the throne and the four living creatures and the elders and no one could learn that song except 144,000 which IT SAYS THEY WERE REDEEMED FROM THE EARTH. If these be redeemed from the earth and stand before the throne how are they preaching the gospel and to all the world? Just wondering in Revelations 14 it mentions what they will be doing but nowhere that I can find in Scripture that says they go out to preach the gospel. Only thing I find is where it says that there will be an angel which will fly in the midst of Heaven having the everlasting Besorah to preach and to all that dwell on the earth and every nation kindred and tongue and people. And he will be saying fear YAHUAH and give Glory TO HIM FOR THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IS COME AND TO WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH AND THE SEAS AND THE FOUNTAINS OF THE WATERS. This angel is not preaching Yahusha and repentance and salvation through faith by Grace of YAHUAH but fear YAHUAH and worship Him for His judgement has come .. So my question is I want to know where everyone thinks that those that are redeemed out of the Earth the 12,000 from each tribe singing a new song are the ones going to be preaching the gospel? We should not add or take away from anything that the scripture says and because of Darby and many of the pre-trib believers point to this as those who will be preaching in the revelation time but I find nothing says that they will be doing so. What I find is that the scripture explicitly says they will be redeemed from the Earth

Jesus is our blessed hope. We hope in Jesus. My fellow truth-seekers will take the time to read this comment. Whoever the Holy Spirit leads will read. There is no pretribulation rapture. Pretribulation is a man-made doctrine, and it is the devil's gospel. Tribulation is the devil's governing oppression over all those in the world who follow Christ. We are in the world, but not of the world. John 16:33,KJV "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me(Christ) ye might have peace. In the world ye shall *have tribulation*: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Tribulation means: distress or suffering resulting from *oppression* or persecution, a trying experience, tribulation means trial.* *Dying to self is dying to what you want= self sacrifice=tribulation*. Doing what Christ wants instead of what you want is worshiping God. Doing what the beast wants is worshipping the beast. To worship the beast, is to worship satan. Surrender is worship. You cannot surrender to Christ and to the beast, it is equal to whoremongering. *Again, surrender is worship*. Surrendering to the beast is technically worshiping satan. It is very serious. Of course, if you are going with the flow, and going along to get along, you will not experience tribulations. Acts 14:22 KJV "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through *much tribulation* enter into the kingdom of God." Then said Jesus unto his disciples, "*If any man will come after me, let him *DENY HIMSELF, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS,* and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.*" Matthew 16:24-26 KJV *Tribulation started in Genesis when Adam forfeited his governance over the world, when he obeyed satan instead of God. Satan instead of man(Adam) has been the governing power over the world's ruling kingdoms( The Ruling Empires) ever since. (Read Genesis, KJV). Let's learn the identity of the beasts: From Ancient Babylon, Mede, Persia, Greecia, Ancient Rome, to present day Rome and all her branches, and Mystery Babylon, and all her daughters( the complicit empire/nations of satan's conspir@cy). These were, and are the beasts of Daniel and Revelation. The Beast is a confeder@cy of nations, 7 heads and 10 horns. Of the 7 heads( empires), 5 fell. The Ancient ones fell, all 5 of them. 2 present heads( Empires) remain. The 10 horns are 10 complicit nations who will join forces with the 2 heads( 2 Empires) to strengthen the beast. It is written that a little horn will come, while emerging 3 horns will be ripped out by the roots. This horn will become the Antichrist. Let's look at the final Beast power: 2 heads and 8 horns, the final world leader(He) as the 8th horn. Satan will inhabit the body of this man, and rule through him. Satan rules in the kingdoms of this World. The kingdoms of the world( the empires) are referred to as beasts, because they are kingdoms without the true God( They are antichrists ). Satan( *The dragon*) is the one who *gives the beasts their power*. Read the Book of Daniel. Daniel interprets Revelation. Read Revelation to understand the end as it relates to the beginning in Genesis. Daniel saw only up to Rome. Rome's Empire fell, but it is back in many ways, through many nations, with the headquarters sitting on 7 hills. You can know which empires are Rome, based on the laws and symbols they use. *The misconception that the antichrist will publicly reveal himself to the world, and demand worship or else, might not happen* What you can be sure about, is that he operates behind the scenes, shadow rulership through his many wealthy and loyal subjects. Satan rules in the kingdoms of the earth. Matthew 4:8, KJV "Again, the devil( satan) taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; [9] And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me." Luke 4:5-8, KJV. "And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this *power* will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Do you see? The devil lies: the power was not given to him freely by God. God freely gave Adam(man) dominion over the earth, but Adam through his disobedience loses it to satan, when he *chose* to put faith in the devil rather than God. *Satan( previously known as Lucifer) will continue to rule, though his total ruling power has been forfeited by the sacrificial blood of Christ, and the resurrection of Christ. Satan no longer has power over all souls unless you willingly give satan your soul. But what does it profit you to gain the world, but lose your soul to satan? Satan and his followers are hellbound. Satan no longer has the key over hell, death and the grave. He cannot hold captive of the souls that belong to Christ. Christ's Sacrificial Blood forfeited all of satan's powers obtained through his deception of man & woman in the Garden of Eden. Revelation 1:17-18, King James Version(KJV) "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." Revelation 3:7, KJV "To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open." On The Day of Christ: All who are Christ's and are dead will be resurrected, and those in Christ who are still alive until Christ returns will be transformed from mortality to immortality, and rise to the Spiritual( incorruptible bodies)of eternal life and peace, free from suffering, war, and pain. There are no tears, and no need for money in Christ's coming Kingdom, no rich vs poor, no pale skin vs dark skin, no upper-class vs lower-class, no aristocrats vs. peasants, etc. There are no narcissists in Christ's Kingdom. For we are all one in Christ Jesus, and there is no evil, or sin there. Amen!!! The return of Christ: The Day of The Lord, is not a quiet rapture event. *Pretribulation? or After Tribulation? And he also preaches from pulpits not physically, but through his many false prophets. No Holy Spirit filled pastor can say that the beast is not yet, because the beast once was, and is, and is coming, and is heading to perdition. The beast is already here. The root of the matter is satan. When the celestial ( satan) entered the body of Judas Ischariot ( the terrestial), Christ referred to Judas as son of perdition. The final world leader is also referred to as son of perdition, as the devil will possess his body. You see, the root of the matter is the devil, also referred to as the son of perdition. .

Being a Christian is a call to suffer for Christ as he suffered for us. It isnt easy to do what is right in a sin filled world. We have to struggle against our own bodies desires to sin, other people who have given in to sin and want us to join them, and demons. God never promises that life on Earth will be easy, he promises that he will be with his children and he is as the Holy Spirit dwelling within those who Believe and Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you a body with a spirit or a spirit with a body?

Who can "grieve the holy spirit" , as the apostle Paul says at Ephesians 4:30 ? First off, what is the holy spirit ? Not "the third person of the Holy Trinity", but God's life force that he "has given to those obeying him as ruler".(Acts 5:32) The holy spirit empowers God's servants to do his will, at times beyond their own capability, as for example, of Jesus, who was "full of holy spirit" upon his baptism by John the Baptist in the Jordan river.(Luke 4:1) Jesus was NOT filled with "God", but God's life force that enabled him to fulfill his assigned role as the Messiah or Christ, meaning "anointed one" OF God.(Dan 9:24-27) At Matthew 12:15-21, after having healed a man with a withered hand, so that the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus, it says: "Having come to know this, Jesus departed from there. Many also followed him, and he cured them all, but he sternly ordered them not to make him known, in order to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet (Isa 42:1-4), who said: “Look ! My SERVANT ("servant", Greek pais, meaning "a boy or girl, a slave or servant, especially a minister to a king", Jesus as God's servant and NOT God) whom I chose (God does NOT chose himself for an assignment, see Luke 23:35), my beloved (God does NOT call himself "beloved", but he does of an obedient Son, see Matt 3:17), whom I have approved (God does NOT approve himself, but he does of obedient servants) !" "I will put my (holy) spirit upon him (see Luke 4:18, in which while in a synagogue in Nazareth, Jesus reads from Isaiah 61: "Jehovah’s (God's names, see Isa 12:2, KJV) (holy) spirit is upon me, because he (Jehovah God) anointed me (God does NOT anoint or set himself apart for a special work) to declare good news to the poor")," "and what justice is he will make clear to the nations. He will not quarrel nor cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the main streets. No bruised reed will he crush, and no smoldering wick will he extinguish, until he brings justice with success. Indeed, in his name nations will hope.” So, since the holy spirit is ONLY "given to those obeying (Jehovah God) as ruler", this narrows down those who have access to it (which leaves Christendom completely out of the picture, who are the "antichrists", that means "against (or instead of ) Christ", see 1 John 2:18-23), who are careful to follow its leadings, but also the ones who can "grieve the holy spirit", when they consistently disobey its direction. I suggest you reread the Bible. Jesus called the Holy Spirit a “him” in the text. The language used to describe the Holy Spirit is a personal pronoun, not an “it” which is describing an object, which the breath of God is, just an it. False teachers like you will learn the hard way I suppose.

For example, death is called "a king" at Romans 5:14, as well as sin and "undeserved kindness" are also called a "king" at Romans 5:21, but none are a person, for the apostle Paul used them as symbolic "figures" to establish the power that sin and death had over mankind, "even over those who not sinned in the same way that Adam transgressed (intentionally), who bears a resemblance to the one (Jesus Christ) was to come".(Rom 5:14) Even trees and those in the grave are used in symbolic language as speaking, as at Isaiah 14:8-10: "Even the juniper trees rejoice over you (the fall of Babylon, verse 4), along with the cedars of Lebʹa·non. They SAY, ‘Ever since you have fallen, no woodcutter comes up against us.’ Even the Grave underneath is stirred up to meet you when you come." "Because of you, it (symbolically) awakens those powerless in death, all the oppressive leaders of the earth. It makes all the kings of the nations rise from their thrones. I am laying in Zion a chosen stone (Jesus Christ), a precious foundation cornerstone, and no one exercising faith in it will ever be disappointed.” So, just because the holy spirit is spoken of as a "him" in no way makes it a person, but is just the way Jesus expressed it, for at Matthew 12:28, Jesus says: "But if it (the expelling of demons) is by means of God’s spirit that I expel the demons, the Kingdom of God has really overtaken you". At Luke 11:20, Luke writes it this way: "But if it is by means of God’s finger (or that which extends from God) that I expel the demons, the Kingdom of God has really overtaken you", showing the holy spirit as NOT a person, but "God's finger", like our fingers that we use to accomplish work. So, when a person makes a SINCERE examination of the Bible, an ACCURATE Bible, they find that the holy spirit is Jehovah's life force, that he can extend to others for them to accomplish what he desires, such as Jesus being "filled with holy spirit", to fulfill his "God-given" assignment as the promised Messiah or Christ.(Luke 4:1; Isa 53; Dan 9:24-27)

​​@@timhaley3459 How can you explain the "Good Thief" who got saved by Jesus directly just by FAITH in him? Isnt that the best example of Christ's mercy? The thief was condemmed, recogniced himself as sinner, and that his punishment was just. But recalled Jesus as God. Then he was promised to be with him in Heaven, that same day. Not only that, but "justfied by FAITH and not by works" is repeated dozens of times. And yes beforehand I tell you, I use the Interlineal Greek New Testament.

@@buds2344 The thief to to one side of Jesus while both were on stakes, finally realized that Jesus was "something more than Solomon" (Matt 12:42), and showed a repentant attitude for his criminal behavior, while the other criminal did not. Because of the remorse shown by one thief, who said before he died, "Jesus, remember me when you get into your Kingdom", Jesus assured him that he would receive a resurrection from the dead during his Millennial reign (Rev 20:4-6), when the earth has been transformed into a paradise, saying: "Truly I tell you today, (in which there was NO punctuation or comma in the original Greek, but must be added for accuracy) you will be with me in Paradise."(Luke 23:42, 43) The criminal could NOT be "with Jesus on the same day in heaven" as is commonly believed, for Jesus would be dead for three days (Matt 12:40; 16:21) and the criminal was still a criminal, having done NOTHING to allow him to gain life everlasting, for only those who are "holy" in God's eyes (see Lev 19:2; 1 Pet 2:9), having abandoned "the world" (see John 18:36) and having proved this even up to death, can even begin to have everlasting life.(see Rev 2:10) At Acts 24:15, the apostle told Governor Felix: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous", so that the "unrighteous" is resurrected from the dead to be given the OPPORTUNITY to make the needed changes in their thinking and behavior. Once the remorseful criminal is resurrected (John 5:28, 29), he will have the OPPORTUNITY to complete what he started with his words to Jesus, of "stripping off the old personality with its practices and putting on the new personality" that imitates God, whose name is Jehovah.(Col 3:9, 10; see Isa 12:2, KJV) He will have the OPPORTUNITY to show by his "works" that he has made the needed changes, as Jeremiah 17:10 indicates: "I, Jehovah, am searching the heart, examining the innermost thoughts, to give to each one according to his ways, according to the fruitage of his works", as Jesus said at Matthew 16:27: "For the Son of man is to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will repay each one according to his behavior". As the apostle Paul wrote at Romans 2:6-8: "And he will pay back to each one according to his works: everlasting life to those who are seeking glory and honor and incorruptibleness by endurance in WORK that is good; however, for those who are contentious and who disobey the truth but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and anger." Only when the remorseful criminal has made a "complete makeover" and follows in Jesus "footsteps" (1 Pet 2:21) and passes the final test at the end of Jesus Millennial reign (Rev 20:12-15) will he be given everlasting life on the paradise earth. So, when Jesus told him that "Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise", he was NOT saved nor resurrected on that day, but rather will be given the OPPORTUNITY to be saved during Jesus Millennial reign, for Jesus said at Matthew 24:13, that "the one who has endured to the end will be saved." There will be those during Jesus Millennial reign who will not put on the "new personality", but will "drag their feet", for Isaiah 65:20 says: "No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days, nor an old man who fails to live out his days. For anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy, and the sinner will be cursed, even though he is a hundred years of age." On the other hand, those who come to love and fully obey Jehovah God, will see this: "They will build houses and live in them, and they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, nor will they plant for others to eat." "For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree (symbolic of living "a long life" as such trees as the redwoods do, of living forever), and the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full. They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bear children for distress, because they are the offspring made up of those blessed by Jehovah, and their descendants with them." "Even before they call out, I will answer; while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
