Struggling with loneliness and the fact that no one in my family is saved other than me. My dad is my best friend and I couldn’t stand spending the rest of eternity without him. My mom is beyond lost but I try to pray for her too. I just hope that people out there who are raised in good Christian homes are grateful to know that they will never be separated from their loved ones. I am alone already, and without my dad I’d have no one. I am going to try and witness to him this weekend, please pray for him. God bless you all

Philippians 4:6-7. “DO NOT be anxious about ANYTHING….” Whenever you’re scared remind yourself that that is NOT God talking to you. 1 John 4: 18 “there is no fear in love” just keep praying, I’m sure God hears your cries ask.. there the parable of the persistent widow, it talks about how a mean judge wouldn’t listen to her but he ended up helping her out because he was so annoyed of her persistence, Jesus uses that as an example saying if that judge of bad heart would help, why wouldn’t God if he hears every one of their children.. ask and you shall receive ! Don’t fear. I am still trying to get some of my family to be more than lukewarm Christians. You must understand that the love for them from God is greater than yours and He will soften their stone hearts within His time. Just continue to pray and stay in His Word!

I’m sick and tired of cheating on God with the world. When I first got saved (2020) I was reading my Bible every morning, even making sure to wake up early to do Scripture writing and reading. Now I read fanfiction, listen to music, watch videos, play games on my phone and scroll through YT and IG and can literally FEEL and HEAR the Holy Spirit telling me to come back to God and sometimes it’s like I’m powerless to do it. Please brothers and sisters, pray for me. I hate the old me and I don’t want to go to Hell but I also want to develop a closer relationship with God through Christ

I second this. I was also saved in 2020. Last couple of weeks have been especially hard, but the last two years I’ve been bouncing back and forth with backsliding and repentance. I have spent nights weeping and begging for help. I think you and I need a lot of intercessory prayer to couple our own endeavors of praying for ourselves and standing tall to strive for our closer walk with Jesus. The thing I have learned most is even though I have fallen and I have backslidden and I have such shame that I am not doing what I should’ve been doing is to start to start now get back into it read your Bible pray, pray pray, pray several times a day many times a day, and then find a church and then make friends with somebody in the church and go to breakfast go to lunch you’ve got this you can do this you know that God has your back and he wants for you, so please do not feel lonely, God loves you get out find a church you are loved. I've even written down some dreams that effect me. Getting a daily devotional can help, too. Write down what your devotion challenged you with that day and how you worked, to make it happen. I’ve been realizing lately that I stopped reading the bible and praying and started to binge watch Netflix and was always on social media and playing games and for a second I felt sooo far away from God, I fell into temptation and I thought that God wouldn’t forgive me so I gave up, I started to hurt myself physically and emotionally, Guilt kept running in my head, But everywhere I turned I felt like God was looking after me I felt God was sending me messages ( I even got a message from my a Pastor that I asked if I could get baptized a while ago and he replied and said yes! ) and signs that he wasn’t mad at me, He never left me, Yesterday I started to read my bible again and pray again, But felt like I wasn’t doing enough and I’m so glad I found this, Right when I open youtube this came up and I definitely learned something new, Thank you God for the blessing and for you’re guidance. When I was 15 I wanted to party and drink and smoke and do all kinds of stuff, Im 17 now and all I want is to be able to have a relationship with God and to make it stronger than ever before and to be able to guide my family and everyone else around me, God Bless Everyone! Hello, im not very old. Im still in middle schook! But i want all of you to know you can still serve others even if you're young! Today a girl in my pe class dropped her jacket on the dirty bleachers, seeing this i picked it up and tried to hang it on the railing. It fell, but i just put it somewhere more secure. This doesnt seem like a lot, but even the littlest things can really make a difference. So, no matter how old or young you are in your daily life you can make an impact. God bless all of you!!

For me my sacrifice was secular music. I love music and I would just spend hours listening to music almost everyday. Even though I listened to secular music with ‘good’ themes or messages, I just realized I spent way too much time on it. And it was also hindering me from spending more time with God ✨

@@BelovedShinaider22 I’m not saying it’s bad to listen to music with good themes, it’s just that for me personally I was spending a lot of time on it and it influenced a lot about how I felt and my thoughts. Listening to Christian music helped me to really focus more on God. I think personally when it comes to listening to music, I just think does the message or theme align with God or man? Philippians 4:8 also helped me a lot, to discern what music with good themes is.

They have Biblical trivia games. It will point out scripture and help you figure out what to focus on while studying the Bible. Play and learn! I’m so proud of you that you hunger for the knowledge of Christ at your age.

For Christ I definitely had to sacrifice alot, sacrificed my 10 year friend cause our relationship went toxic the more Christian I became the more my friend tried to drag me down, I started replacing our time with reading the Bible, I stopped following a lot of un-godly KZreadrs, stopped watching certain films, and tried to take up going more to church but I’m still working on that with a busy work schedule. Im proud of my steps to rid myself of sinful life styles but recently I’ve been feeling empty inside. Like I’m lonely but I don’t wanna speak to anyone. My soul is hurting to know what the lord wants from me but all I ever seem to get is silence but I don’t stop praying. I don’t know maybe I’m thinking too hard but this absence of energy is new to me.

Our feelings are deceiving. Just because you feel lonely doesn’t mean it’s true 😊

Another area of growth I’ve found is in repentance as needed. Trying also to develop the habit of nightly reviewing the day with God; thanking Him for His faithfulness and blessings, but also asking Him to bring to mind anything displeasing to Him that I need to repent of and receive His forgiveness. Not giving the devil a foothold!

My husband and I are completing a year long Bible plan together every morning currently. I have to admit, humility is such a tough one for me, (but most desired trait) especially after a long time of having to learn to practice self love or having to defend my intelligence, value, etc growing up as a child. I'm having to unlearn having to prove myself. Ultimately, the only opinion that should matter is our heavenly Father, not our own, not anyone else's.

Deleted my social media and limit video games 2-3 times a week with only 3-4 hours of playtime before I read my bible. Sometimes I end up falling asleep reading the bible so when I catch this, I play an audiobook on the Hallow app. I want to do this often whenever I find myself getting sleepy.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18- 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. So don't forget to pray through out the day because If you don't God will answer your prayers less, pray every morning afternoon then pray noon pray night. Praying 1 or 2 times a day can help but you should pray more than that pray whatever you go no matter what.

So example if want to save up money to buy a house and you don't have the money right now then, having a good prayer life and patience will give you that desire which is that house. But if it doesn't meet God's needs he may not give you what you want.

Nowadays more than ever we are surrounded by distractions that have the potential of becoming idols in our lives, but we, as God's children, have the Holy Spirit to help us make the most of our time and put God first place.

Mid 30s here... I got high on marijuana for the first time, and felt a rush of emotions and lack of self control. I never realized how NOT in control of life I am... I am going backt to the flock, with the Lord as my shepherd, I love him. Never getting high again.

Please don't go back. Ask God for help in any temptation. 1. Don't expose yourself to situations where you might be tempted 2. If tempted to sin, run from there. Move away. (As Jospeh did) 3. Pray to God for His strength and protection. 4. Direct yourself to other spiritual matters that can help you grow more in your relationship with Christ and serve other people in their need. 5. Know that the boundaries that God sets is for our absolute good. God is our Father and He never says no for the things He sees is good for us. When I am tempted to sin, I remember that His commands for me is because of His absolute love for me and that He knows that I will be most happy and most satisfied when I walk according to His will for me. I used to write poetry, it wasn't holy, it including my feelings of loneliness and pain of past traumas, and other conflicting feelings, i have given that as a sacrifice to the lord , I just recently gave my life to him , is that sacrifice good enough?, I have also given up watching movies, cartoons and listening to music, I want to listen to music that will praise his name only, I thank god for this video I really felt I couldn't do this , i also feel m sacrifices aren't extreme enough through i really loved m poetry, it was my outlet but I want to trust in my lord and that he will comfort me in troubles and be my company. god bless all♥

Hey there, I’m a sister in Christ who also loves to read and write. I’m sorry you went through so much trauma, and glad that the Lord has helped you heal. May I ask: why did you write the poems you did? Were you trying to indulge in your negative feelings, to vent and always feel negative all the time, without change? Or were you trying to work through your complicated, negative feelings, because you didn’t know how to? I think it’s important to remember God made art as part of His good creation, as a means to glorify Him and not ourselves. James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and that includes the ability to create art. Don’t forget also, King David, the man who ran after God’s heart, loved writing poetry too. Go and read the Psalms, and you’ll see he was actually filled with a lot of negative feelings too (Psalm 22), with pain and anger and very questionable phrases. But at the end of his ranting, David didn’t just wallow, but he gave his emotions to God, and praised God as always being good, his light and his salvation. (Psalm 23, 27, 103, I could go on) I don’t know how much your poetry was truly separating you from God, only you can answer that. But I just felt like encouraging you, that if you think art or expressing your trauma and pain through art is inherently sinful or makes God angry: it doesn’t. God made you beautifully and wonderfully, He makes us all unique, and maybe poetry is the gift He gave you to express yourself. I encourage you that if you still love poetry, perhaps you should give it to God, and show Him how He can use your love for His glory, and not your own. Feeling lonely, hurt, or any other negative emotion is not a sin. Feelings are not sins - it’s our actions based upon them that are sinful or not. And God wants to hear all your hurts so He can heal you and lift the burden from your shoulders, as you’ve no doubt experienced (Matthew 11:28-30). And lastly, remember what sacrifice is for. It’s not about being “extreme enough” so that God will consider you worthy. If your sacrifice is motivated by being afraid God won’t love you, or accept you, or think you’re good enough, that’s the wrong motive, and a lie from Hell. God loves you so much, He’s already taken all your sin and pain on the cross in exchange for a life with Him. Your sacrifice should be from a desire to draw near to Him, to know His heart more - not to punish yourself or think that God is trying to make you miserable. Jesus loves you, and in Him we have the greatest joy and an abundant life. (John 10:10) I can’t tell you what to sacrifice, but know that I’m praying for you too, and Jesus is always with you.

We will never be fruitful unless we abide in the vine. Understand that we are saved by grace through faith, and faith is an act. Placing our trust in jesus, and letting him work in us and through us. Dying to self. Renewing our mind by the help of the holy spirit. And most importantly, showing jesus that we need him, and trusting that he is our help.

We are just passing through on this earth, on our way to our eternal home with the Lord. This is why we feel empty in this world, like something’s missing, because God put eternity in our hearts for a reason. That hole within our soul can ONLY be filled with one thing, and that’s Jesus, and that’s how He created us, because He wants us to rely on Him so He can help us and show us more. It’s ok to wrestle with doubt. Look at the people in the Bible who doubted: most of the time they were the ones who got to experience the most incredible miracles! It’s okay to ask God why, and to wrestle with questions. He’s big enough to have the answers. Keep asking, keep seeking. You will find exactly what He’s leading you to because he loves you ❤️

Pray, it helps the bible says to cast your cares upon the Lord because he cares for you. It helps to talk to the Lord about what's weighing on your heart. Then get in the word and start seeking God, going to church also helps because you're having fellowship with other believers. GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Jesus is faithful.. if you seek Him with all of your heart, He says He will be found by you. Wait on Him with prayer and faith. He loves you, and there is nothing on earth that is sweeter than His presence. ❤

Being ADHD it truly makes things complicated. I do not use meds and until couple days ago I smoked pot to curb the ADHD. What I failed to realize is in my contentment I withdrew from God. For years I've battled myself to draw closer. Then it come to me. I've the best condition to always have God. By doing nothing about my condition I force myself to pull God to me. I need something or so I thought. I just needed God as I always have since a little boy. Now I find myself no longer the same person. Instead of video games I listen to KJV audio. I watch movies and shows revolving around God. In the end I am settled better now then any meds or pot could ever do. I love you Jesus I thank you so very much. Solitude, every morning in the back yard with God and my dogs. Giving thanks for the day is always first. After prayer, and playing with the dogs, it's Bible study time for 1/2-1hr. Grow in sacrifice is difficult. I've redirected hobby money to the Lord's work for Israel, but I need to do more. Grow in service, I'm a grumpy old veteran who's avoided contact with people, but even I have found ways to spread the joy of the Lord in my few interactions with people I meet and deal with. It's wonderful to make someone's day a little bit better and brighter!

Regarding prayer time, I also recommend the following: 1. If you will be praying indoors, have a special place to pray, which you design/decorate suitably to encourage a spirit of prayer. For example, by a window where you can look at the sky as you pray, or in a quiet corner where you can have Scripture art on the wall of your favourite Bible promises. 2. Per the above, pray the Scriptures! I have heard so many testimonies from Christians whose prayer lives really took off when they started praying the Word of GOD, whether just praying over their daily reading, or claiming particular Bible promises. It's been very meaningful for my husband and I as well. 3. Involve as many senses as possible. Listen to instrumental hymns, light a scented candle that you only use during prayer/devotional times, drink a special herbal tea, etc. This is also where the suggestion in the video to journal comes into play! 4. Be wise about technology. My husband likes to have the laptop during his devotions so that he can use tools like e-Sword. If I involve technology at all, it is only for things that don't require an internet connection (e.g. music or searching for a Bible passage). Any gadget with an internet connection is automatically a distraction, so I avoid them. 5. Don't be afraid to take brief breaks if you, like me, struggle with drowsiness or distractions. Make the break part of the prayer time by continuing to talk with GOD as you get up to move around for a bit. If something pops into your mind that seems important, but isn't relevant to your time with GOD, jot it down in a little notebook just for distracted thoughts. Then, you can let them go and get back to your prayer. 6. Intercede for others. Prayer gets real stale if you just pray for the same personal issues day after day. Pray for others instead! This will become especially easy if you are doing Step 3 of this video. 7. Combine fasting with your prayers, wherever possible-especially when dealing with difficult sacrifices (Step 2) or are interceding for someone else for a big thing (e.g. their salvation or a terminal illness).

I am basically new as being saved. I live Off Grid all by myself, I see my wife once every 4 months, she is a truck driver. I so enjoy your videos, thank you so much, Lord has blessed me with everything I need. I have quit drinking, smoking weed, and struggling with cigarettes. Again thank you for your videos, they do make me stronger to get closer with the Lord.

I quit doing everything I live alone I am struggling with smoking cigarettes I want to quit so bad I cannot believe it is so hard I've used pills and patches and and then people tell me oh Barbara just go ahead and do like you're doing walk with the Lord and all that and eventually that you know you'll stop or whatever well the only thing is I can't do that when when I'm smoking it's just not the same but when I stop smoking even if it's for like a month or something I can tell the difference spiritually and then I end up smoking again cuz I just can't take it and then you've got people saying all well you've got to stop or you'll go to hell and then there's other people saying no Barbara yeah there's nothing in the Bible that says you'll go to hell for smoking but then I'm like well but we're not supposed to do all these other things and we go to hell for that so you know the Bible doesn't explicitly say every single thing but we are supposed to use common sense but I don't know the lady it's her told me she smoked for 20 years I don't know I don't know what to do all I can do is just keep going forward I don't know but anyway I'm very very glad very happy for you very very happy for you that's quite an achievement with the Lord God bless you brother

Know that we belivers all sin in different ways and the good thing about it is that we can draw close to God to help us in dealing with our struggles and when you succeeded you will thank God all the more and the glory belongs to Him. Keep on fighting, it’s not an easy thing to do, I’ve had addictions just the same. I was able to overcome becusse I knew it wouldn’t satisfy me and I know God does. Let God be your satisfaction for he is the living water, and he satisfies like nothing else, and you will lose your desire for those things completely!!! God bless you!!! It’s already been months since you commented take notice how fast time flys don’t waste it!!!

I’ve had the same addictions smoking drinking and doing all these things, it was something that was easy for me to let go of. However I did have a sin I struggled with and would cry and repent and fast and I would be free, then I became comfortable thinking I was free forever and strong on my own, a month would pass by and I eventually ended up being tempted by the enemy again, and I would fight for a little while on my own strength until I couldn’t no more, and it’s because I relied on my own strength and not on Gods. The word says to break chains we must fast, I usually go 6am-12pm, blocking out everything and meditating on God only through prayer, reading his word, and watching preachings (mainly billy graham, but be careful who you watch) try to do these things if you truly want to let these things go, read Gods word and know him better, smoking is definitely a sin. It isn’t pure, or holy. And everything against God is sin. Allow God to purify you, submit yourself and fight!!! It’s not worth it, trust me I’ve struggled but I’ve overcame because I maintained myself praying and fasting and reading his word. Very very important to keep in communion with God to not fall into temptation. Ask God to let go of the desires and learn to pray more and more!!! God will break the chains, I am a living testimony, if God can liberate me he can do the same with you, the word of God says we are all tempted with the same things, we all have weaknesses learn to know when the enemy (demons and the devil) are coming to tempt you and fight in prayer and the sword which is the word of God!

I just got baptized yesterday..and trying to get closer to god.

The best way you can get closer to God is by reading your Bible.. Read what he says and put it into practice.. Also have someone you talk to, and get advices from..

First! Also, this video was very timely. I'm going to take action on all three of these. The two most difficult will be sacrifice and service. I'm going to sacrifice some things that I spend too much time focusing on, and I'm going to start focusing on the Lord. I'm going to serve, I just need to find what the Lord wants me to do. Lately the Lord has been telling me to just come and sit with Him. Not to try to get to Him. Praying in tongues is 👍. One day the Lord told me to sit down and to shut up, don't pray or sing , just sit there and close my eyes. So I did and I got a vision of my mom and I in my living room coming together and hugging. Now my mom went Home to the Lord and few years ago and I was not good with my mom. And it bothered me. The Lord had told me in my prayer time that mom now knows why I did what I did. But it still bothered me. Since I get a lot of dreams and visions ... the Lord told me that. After that vision, it has never bothered me again ‼️ GOD IS FAITHFUL ‼️ For those who are questioning this: NO MY MOM DID NOT COME BACK TO LIFE, IT WAS GOD THAT CREATED HEAVEN AND EARTH RELATING TO ME IN A WAY I WOULD ABSORB IT ❗

Amen LaTyra, I know what you mean sbout illustrations helping, I've recently added visual clips to my bible study channel it's helping me so much. I guess I think in pictures.

Joining a weekly group is very helpful. I often find you get more out of a discussion-based Bible Study as opposed to a traddional Sunday service (not suggesting you skip that though) and the smaller group creates greater accountability. Not to mention having relationships with other Christians is very important

I'm young,and I've decided to start getting closer to God.I don't have a bible,so I've searched online for one and found it,I've been falling behind though because of video games,but I've decided to start again,I don't know if online bibles are recommended though.but this video really helped me out,it'll be hard but at least it will be worth having a close relationship with God. Faith is one of the most challenging things to have! We have to have faith in something we can't see or touch or hear, but thank God for the Holy Spirit, he has filled my heart and mind with faith. Reading God's word has also changed my life in ways I can't even explain. I find myself so grateful that the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes. I was spiritually blind for most of my life, but now I can truly see! There's a calmness that comes over you, you feel blessed. Pray for the unbelievers, ask the Holy Spirit to uncover their eyes and unhardened their hearts so that they can see their ways and repent and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. ✝️🙏💜

I didn't feel worthy to ask for help after thanking God for everything but this helped me see I'm on the right path and I will never give up, as God gives me strength and I hope to help those around me.

You saying it's a fairy tale because you don't believe it doesn't change anything. Saying I'm an idiot for believing in a God that cured me of my seizures (also gave my taste back) after 8 years while doctors couldn't help, took my anxiety/worries without pills and made me have more love for people than hate, is exactly why people today are miserable/unhappy/depressed/hateful. Like America is a Godless nation and it's getting worse with men/woman thinking they're the opposite sex, abortion is celebrated, feminism which is not good and instead of conversations they resort to screaming.

5:43 when i was watching this part i just KNEW that God wanted me to delete a certain game on my phone (that ive been playing too much instead of reading my Bible) and earlier this day i didnt listen when i felt the Spirit wanting me to delete it, but when this part came i was like: well i just have to delete it now, because it is wasting my time literally.... ive just deleted it and i feel so much better like i am free or something, idk how to explain it... but im happy i did, these videos are awesome! also about the thing if the sacrifice hurts: yes it does, because i got so far in the game and it took so long to get there 😩 but now i just deleted it and its awful but freeing at the same time :)

I honestly can’t tell you how mucbreal much I spent on a stupid fashion game. Ashamed now but I was sucked in for a bit.

I was told to sacrifice social media except KZread only for Christian messages for God...it was very hard at first but worth sacrificing‼️ even every worldy pleasure like bike,car,editing......etc....etc‼️

I talk to Jesus like I talk to others. It shouldn't be hard to be with HIM!

I was talking to the Lord this morning about being dissatisfied with the aspect of our time that has to do with His word because I'm not focused enough. I'm all over the place doing too much, so this actually helped me slow down a bit to reassess some things and, like you say, get a little more creative about what I am already doing. Gave up playing video games yesterday. I gathered every console and game, then sold them at my local GameStop. Gave away my amiibos. When I started getting serious about my relationship with God, i completely quit watching porn and submitted all of my sexually immoral thoughts to the cross. I quit masturbating indefinitely. It was excruciatingly difficult, but God helped me put my sins to death. I still get tempted now and then, but I recite Scripture just as Jesus did to ward off temptation. Afterwards, I come to God in prayer. My next step is to control the things I eat and how much I eat. When i was deeply depressed (which is when i kickstarted my walk with the Lord) i got hooked on junk food. Now it has become a crutch for me. Ive spent so much money on fast food and find it so hard to break this habit. Ive gained a lot of weight and am now the heaviest I've ever been at 277 lbs. It is time to deny my gluttonous cravings and take care of my body, for it is God's temple. I'm trying to take things one sacrifice at a time. Ive made it my mission to read the Bible and pray daily and I aspire to increase in learning and in faith. Denying oneself is not easy by any means, but we must fully rely on God who helps us bear our struggles and temptations. Despite my shortcomings, God is so gracious and merciful that He would save me from my captivity to sin and my bonds to hell. It is not by good deeds that we earn favor with Him, but by His grace alone

How very timely! In our Bible study, we just talked about practical things to do when we decided we must be sensitive to the LORD's Spirit, to be able to listen to His still, small voice.

This video just came across my home page at a time when I've been trying to rekindle my faith and have recently become extremely discouraged. After a 40 year walk with Christ, that's been a rollercoaster ride to say the least, I've been consumed with doubt, I feel that my back and forth over the years with the world than with Christ has ended in a disaster of faith for me. Then this video pops up offering anointed advice on overcoming myself, doubt, discouragement and drawing closer to the Lamb without blemish. Over the last year or so, my social media accounts have become loaded with praise and worship artists, pastoral teachings and digital missionaries. So it stands to reason that KZread's algorithms would have naturally tossed your channel my way. But this particular video from 11 months ago at this particular time in my life has the God of creations fingerprints all over it .

Also i found it helpful, when we like fall, or messed. Seek Him still, let Him see, have all your messed up being. He already know all of us, our imperfection, our flaws, bad habit . Just dont ran away from Him, instead ask for His forgiveness, 1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness .and dont say to yourself i shouldn't do this sin instead have a goal, whats advantages do i have from doing this sin?, Im supposed to pursuing hollines, i have to keep going. And pray so that God's desire became yours

Audio bible helps me alot. I do get distracted easily though so what I started doing was 1 of 2 things. I will listen to it with my sleeping mask on so i dont get distracted or i will drive to my favorite park and listen to it while i sit in my car.

For someone who wants to grow in the Lord, I think there's a strong element of fellowship needed. People thrive in families, even naturally speaking. The devil hunts and takes advantage of people without guidance. It's not to say that the holy spirit cannot teach and guide you, many times be does. But when we have been given the opportunity to belong to a family of believers who would teach us, correct us, protect us, exhort and edify us, God expects us to maximise every opportunity. My advice? Find a local church that teaches the truth and become a part of it. Keep Christian friends especially if you're young in the Lord. There's safety and sanity in the BODY of Christ Proverbs 27:17 [17]Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another. Hebrews 10:24-25 [24]and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, [25]not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

I deleted all songs by my favorite artist of my phone. it's a sacrifice for sure cause I was really into it.I want to spend more time with him and reach a next level.I hope that this message can convince someone who still hesitate the same way that I was.
