Just the other week I was listening to one of Derek videos and he made reference to a sin I needed to confess. 20 year old genital eruption God removed, pain and worrying in a moments time. Confession is not only good for the soul, it's also good for the body. God bless us on our journey!!!

I regret so much of my life, when I became converted to Christ at 23 I lived a total foolished life not giving any Glory to God, I wished so much if I could haved listening to Derek Prince every day and be transformed into the image of Christ through this great bible teacher 😢 I am doing now, but I am now 59, so sad losing so many years of my life!

For when we cannot choose words in order to pray properly, the Spirit himself expresses our plea in a way that could never be put into words, and God who knows everything in our hearts knows perfectly well what he means, and that the pleas of the saints expressed by the Spirit are according to the mind of God. Every believer worships in spirit and in truth. We have been given a new heart, and a new spirit. We are all a new creation, and we are all cleansed of all sin, and joined to Jesus. When we understand what Jesus has done for us, and to us, we cannot help, but worship. Too often people use the way we worship as a measuring stick to judge how spiritual, or how close to God we are. Every one of us is in Christ, and He is in us. Our spirit is now alive and tuned to His. So that all of our worship is in spirit and truth. Let's just thank and praise Jesus for all He has done, and not be moved away from the simplicity of devotion to Christ. We have the Spirit so we are now able worship in spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, and abides (lives) in us. We don't need to get any incense, or worry about being perfect. Let's not judge our worship. Let's just rest in Him, and thank Him.

I believe it is much simpler than that. The spirit is the breath and life, that which is given from him. Therefore; his word is his spirit, so by us giving back of that which is his; is being of one spirit. giving back to him his words, his spirit. making his spirit our spirit. so to worship him, we must give back to him using the examples given to us in the scriptures, how Jesus and his apostles explain or show to us using their examples, this is what ultimately leads to salvation, through the grace and mercy of our lord.

I was in agreement with you until you said, "this is what ultimately leads to salvation, through the grace and of our [L]ord." We can't give of His Spirit if we don't have His Spirit in us as that is the big part of what salvation is. What God does in us to make us "born again" or "born from above" is found in Ezekiel 36:25-27. Cleanses us by the Holy Spirit through the washing of the word (John 15:3); gives us a new heart (that is declared pure [Matt 5:8] and no longer has the characteristics described in Jer 17:9) and a new spirit; and places His Spirit into our hearts to write His law upon the new heart and to cause us to walk in His ways because of the empowering and fruit of the Spirit (character of God He brings into us and is wanting to grow in us John 15:1-8 and Gal 5:22-23).

@@cesspitsid4141 It seems you've put the cart before the horse. He gives us everything we need and it comes as a package deal with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We walk in the truth. The way I read what you wrote, you say all the first things in your post and then your final sentence say it "leads to salvation". It is BECAUSE of the establishment of salvation by God (which includes the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) that the first part of your post is available. Perhaps I am just not getting what you're saying. I was sure to slowly and repeatedly read what you wrote before I posted to make sure I was understanding what you're saying. You speak of returning what is His and of His Spirit but if salvation isn't already in place, then there is no Holy Spirit to return back to Him in worship.
