@@Tdawgz777 I agree with you. It's very easy for us that dont necessarily compete to hear opinions of why athletes lose and critique their training without a second thought. But I'm sure when the athletes themselves hear from someone else that they didnt train properly, I can easily see how it would piss them off. I can understand both Pradeep's and Ermes' opinions about the situation. Pradeep should have the freedom to give his opinion on what he thinks happened and what he thinks could be done better, but we also can't be surprised if an armwrestler hears the opinion and gets frustrated with it, especially if the arm wrestler takes it as Pradeep thinking he knows better than the athletes themselves.

Honestly I've been listening to Pradeep for a while now and I've enjoyed his content. Lately I commented on his video that the after-pull between Devon and Georgi wasn't representative of a match as Devon ALWAYS practices with a disadvantage. He addressed that, probably because I wasn't the only one thinking that, saying no, Devon don't do that and that's the reason why Georgi will win because he was able to pin Devon in after-pulls. I know Devon personally I've practiced with him, pulled competitions with him. I know exactly what I'm talking about, and other people know it. I just hated to see Pradeep go out of his way like this. I love facts and I feel like Pradeep recently tilted towards a biased approach towards Devon and some other athletes. As his channel suggests it, we expect News, not theories, feelings or biased discussions. News.

Here’s the issue. It’s a language barrier issue. Some things that come across ignorant or disrespectful in English is because the person hearing the comments is not good with the language so they don’t know how to interpret a what’s a opinion that’s just that a opinion and a fact. So ermes might hear these comments and think by his interpretation that Pradeep is trying to state facts instead of a opinion.

I think there is a lot of recency bias in the arm wrestling fans. When someone loses their most recent match, all of a sudden everybody calls them a bum. Now everybody is going to say "Vitaly is all washed up!" when before he was considered #2 in the world

Ermes is basically pointing out that Pradeep is indulging a bit too much in speculation, without knowing the real details. Ermes had a point that there is now way to know Vitaly's training protocols unless it was made public knowledge by Vitaly himself. That being said, it's not easy to create content and attract attention to the sport. Ultimately, I don't think there is a lot of controversy here, maybe an opportunity to shift a little bit based on constructive criticism. I'll still subscribe of course, Pradeep does a pretty decent job.

Some weakest people have ideas but no power. Even some Armwrestling training teachers are weaker than their students but they have more ideas, technique and knowledge.

I sympathize with ermes. I'd hate people publicly criticizing my performance as an athlete when you work so hard. But if you look at other sports this is what competitors have to put up with. Ermes probably shouldn't watch if it bothers him a lot. If pradeep lies or deceives then criticism is warranted but him expressing opinions is part of his job.
