@@daysbefore54th Unfortunately, BSD is not "big" enough in UFC to pull out a fight against a legend like Dustin Poirier and not having bad consequences after (for example not having a fight against a top 5 for a LONG time)... He chose to fight without all his physical abilities and did an "all in" in round 1. Poirier is a beast and it's not a shame to loose a striking battle against him. DP is a legend, more than most UFC actual and former champions. BSD will come stronger, he's 1 year younger than Gaethje when he was knocked out by Poirier in 2018 !

Easier said than done. I believe believe Benoit was feeling like trash for the last week or 10 days before the fight. He could have gave up, but that would have put the company in a VERY difficult position, considering he was the Co-main fighting against a legend in Poirier. Giving up would have really bad implications for Benoit as well in giving up on the company, he is a very professional fighter on top of being a great human being, there was no way he would let anyone down at this point. Real ones know the truth in the end.

Islam defends his belt just a few for more times against Gaethje, Oliveira, tsarukyan, ect, murder them all as well, then go to retirement too in about 2 years. By that time BSD improved and made a few others statements in the top 10, and is finally ready to be n1 contender and fight for the belt. When Islam will be gone, everyone in the division will finally have some hope, and anything can happen. If BSD worked hard and smart until then, he could totally be in the picture to be champion

Dustin is a beast, but i am pretty sure a second fight between both of them would more likely go in favor of Benoit. Besides the conditions staph, antibiotics, him giving it all in 1st round etc that led him to the fight, in a way he needed such a loss at this moment in his career. Everybody including his coach, kept telling him, don't brawl, stop brawling, and for sure Dustin is the last guy you wanna brawl against. He is a smart guy, this time he learned the hard way, i expect him to come back stonger than ever after this fight.

It s tricky. Dustin didn't really take this fight seriously. He was doing all these weird guillotines, giving his back for free. Didn't respect Benoît grappling abilities. Casually knocked him out and took almost no damage. Only danger was the armbar sub attempt end of round 1. One of the easiest victory of Dustin ever.

@@rickoufrfr2554 it is bro, i'm French and i can tell you right in the eyes that 8 ppl over 10 love america and american culture. It's just sad that American's think that French dont like them because of 2 or 3 douchebag (idk if we say that like that) who dont represent the majority.
