Ermes is clearly intelligent. His arm wrestling shows that. But really, he did pick English up fast!

Ermes is great. I think he will win this Vitaly matchup. Love to see him growing technically and training his weak points. He’s an inspiration to all us little guys since he went from being the little guy to the GLADIATOR

I think this recent loss to Devon motivated Ermes a lot, blessing in disguise. Worked on his weaknesses and coming back stronger than ever

I think Ermes may blow right through Vitaly. Levan and Devon set up for high hand top rolls. Vitaly’s style is low hand top roll, which I think plays into Ermes’ strengths. I expect Ermes to remind the community how powerful he really is.

Makes a lot sense. But Vitaly knows how to readjust and keep his riser up as he did against Revaz. But even with his knuckles down, he still has a ton of pronation which may be a problem for Ermes

if you imagine this match was set up while ermes was still champ he would probably be an easy favourite in my opinion. kinda crazy how much people doubt him after the devon loss. devon is an annoying af stylistic opponent that he took on pretty short notice. vitaly is a beast but i also think ermes will win this

Please Ermes don’t go down the road of blaming the refs for the Devon loss. Had a lot of respect for how you handled the loss and became a fan. You were re-gripping and fouling every time in referee’s grip and should have been fouled out. You got pinned, and they called it an mis-start. It was not one-sided.

Devon was just way stronger, and there was no way for Ermes to win. But said that, refs were absolute garbage, they only wanted to end the match as fast as possible because they had to ref all the event which was so stupidly long! Ermes took the loss and didn't find excuses, theese are just facts, referees were visibly nervous and tired, Devon didn't even have to try to make them against Ermes! And it was also Engin fault for scheduling too much matches making the event extremely long, without adjusting the starting time and using only 2 refs
