Paul is completely right, in the WAL, Michael was allowed to get into ridiculous unpinable positions, sometimes so much so that even if you broke his arm completely backwards, it still wouldn’t touch the pin pad because of the ridiculous angle.

I dont think he needs to follow Jerry around. Paul italia has proven to be his own man with these videos. He is no nonsense no taking sides and telling it how it is. He says things that should be said that isn't in a way where he gets the legit answers out of the interviewee. And he doesn't relent either. If he keeps this up and doesn't sell out, Paul will be THE go to guy in armwrestling world.

You know I noticed at 1 point in the video Jerry says Michael is in a rut but truth be told the reason hes in a rut is because all these rule sets don't allow him to have his humorous bone declined in him hanging way below the table like he did in WAL which was horrible and previous events when they were less strict on that now that all these ones have the humorous bone straight it's gonna be very hard for him to win against elite pullers with the style he has now.

Go back and watch the wal 506 match on here at 25:38 when they fouled jerry and gave him a loss on round 4, mikes elbow came like 2-3 inches off the back of the pad because he hit back so hard to try and purposely foul jerry off the front. It amazes me they never call an elbow foul on mike in wal. He also came off the pad literally onto the table to pin Devon their last round and they didn’t call it

@9:00 To be fair at WAL506 Mike held Jerry’s press while never getting close to going under the table. Also, look back at his matches in PAL against Denis, Andrey and even in WAL Mike was rarely under the table while in a losing position. He would drop down almost to a knee while in a winning or neutral position.

Doctor said it was a bunch of small injuries over time. Makes sense because every match you see him in for 10 years now, he's under the table boasting he'll break his arm before he loses.

I was there close to Jerry’s corner at WAL 506. Rebecca went out on stage and double bird flipped off all of us fans. It was a fiasco.

Not a fan of MMT at all, but how about you stop kicking a guy while he's down? It's pointless and trashy.

I think what you guys left out just judging from seeing it from the outside is that forget the rules that allowed Mike to go well below the table the real issue is that Devon wrote the book on exactly how to beat Mike and he’s such a one trick pony that he hasn’t been able to adjust or adapt his style so everyone is just using what Devon showed them on how to easily handle Mike’s kings and I don’t think he will ever be relevant again especially after his recent surgery.

Toddler lost vs pretty much every elite puller Veovoda is the first one who smacked him 6-0 like no other in 2007. Canay also injured him making him use the queens move back in 2010. Devon did it in 2011. And a 50 year old brzenk in 2014 and denis in 2016 and finally pushkar in 2017. Toddler never became world’s best.

An important difference about the WAL was the longer elbow pads. They were pretty much tailor made for Michael's king's move.

I really believe Jerry should’ve never lost that match the strap was a freaking joke back then, with buckle side dictated close matches. Good call for WAL to change it. Wish Jerry luck on his next match who ever that may be but being a Devon fan I really think this match has to happen if Devon beats Ganadi and it has to happen for all the fans who enjoy watching and supporting both of you. Toddler is done anyway, he won't come back for his surgery, and just hearing talking to doctor I was was shaking my head. The doctor trying his hardest to say it's a major surgery stay safe be careful. You could tell Toddler won't listen , he'll push to hard and get injured again.

MT has had some recent, profound game- changing surgery. It seems his elbow arm was profoundly damaged and disfigured, so that the natural workings of the arm were being made to self destruct when in the business of arm wrestling. This meant his heart was that of a warrior but his elbow arm was dying. PI was right to speak out and lance the boil and create the storm but the dust should gradually settle now... and so it will be up to MT to make a full recovery and to pro fight back again, to prove he can win and gain back the respect.

Hopefully the WAL starts up again. The timing is right with all of the new exposure that the AW world is getting. All they need to do is reduce the size of the pads back to a WAF size.

Next step in legitimizing armwrestling is to make devon stop trying to bend the rules at the setup and leaning way over to compensate with his shoulder. Thats how he beat jerry. Without that cheating setup, he gets flash pinned by everyone.

Watch all of Mikes WAL matches and just look as facial alone. He isn’t straining most of the time Bailey working. Mike has to use his bone lock to win. The only way that works is to dip under the table and also use loose rules with elbow positioning.

Yeah, your not wrong, few calls got missed. But Mike's also gotten away with plenty in other matches that could have benefited the other guys had it been called, so it goes both ways. I don't like the toxic hate in the arm wrestling field, the community is too small for this. Besides, Engin and Neil have also pointed out that they don't enjoy the hate and toxicity within the arm wrestling community (e.g. constantly talking shit about Michael Todd or Ryan Bowen or somebody else behind their backs).

Well Mike just posted his surgery video and it’s very rough for him, it could be years before we see him armwrestle again. Probably not the best timing on a video like this with what he’s going through now.
