Hi! Really nice knitwears you did, esp this circle yoke pullover with stripes. But what I noticed and what I really liked it’s your cleavage, the way it seats beneath your neck. It’s highly flattering and it’s the way I like the most. Although I didn’t achieve this. Congratulations and be healthy in 2024 ❤

First time watching your podcast, I enjoyed seeing all your sweaters. My favorite would be the blue(gray?)and white stripe, DRK every day sweater. It looked so nice on you, and I just loved the simplicity of it.

It’s a very good design!

At 38 55 the lower neck pink vest makes you look younger.

Oh ! I had forgotten the SCRAPPY STASHY MAL was still on, I'll go check what eveyone's made since I last been there. Fell in the rabbit hole ... I am back 3 hours later ... Selma, this pink slipover really suits your complexion, no wonder you wear it so much. Congratulations for all this sweater knitting in 2023, I remember you also knitted socks and accessories. I always find so much inspiration in your podcast. THANK YOU ! I will see if my pregnant daughter is interested in a Coorie In Poncho, I'd love to knit one for her, might try to find a way to make it a bit longer in the front. I wish you and all your loved ones the best for 2024, may this year allow you to realize one of your deepest wish. Once again inspired by you, I choose KINDNESS as my word for 2024, will carry it in heart, words and actions.

Even though it's fewer than you'd normally do, I think 24 items in a year is fantastic. I especially liked the Salty Air Tee and Coorie In Poncho. Too bad about the blue staining the white on your striped sweater, though the gray stripes look just fine to me! And, that's a lovely new mug :) I'm a beginner knitter but I've been practicing watercolor a little bit over the last couple of years, and it's felt really rewarding. I hope you give it a try and share your experience with us.

Love all your completed projects: what a great job! I would frog the vest, I find it looks too big and you would be able to make something else more wearable. I loved your entire year of sharing and look forward to 2024. I appreciate your honesty about yarns and patterns: find this helpful in choosing them. (maybe you just focused on knitwear) Did you forget to show your sewn projects? I know you made some lovely bags. You're a beautiful knitter and I so enjoy your episodes: keep up the great work!

Hi Selma. Your finished sweaters and other knits are beautiful. I enjoy knitting like you, but I am not as skilled as you in following pattern, and I have not knitted a sweater yet, and maybe it is not something I can make as I have no one to ask questions how to make it; but I am blessed to have a few sweaters in the closet and they are not hand knitted. I have knitted beautiful blankets in the Rios yarn which is so nice for my daughter and my granddaughter who took it to her university and she has it on her bed. It is in dark purple and whit. I have a suggestion for you to make for your husband, and It is a scarf with an easy one row pattern and it is knitted in multiple of 4 stitches plus 2: and here is the one row pattern and it is K2, K1 in the back and P1. That is all. I am making one for an acquaintance gentleman and it is 50 inches wide and am making it 60 inches long. I am making it in olive green in wool with a 7 US needles. Thank you for showing your beautiful knits. You are very talented. Take Care. 😊

I really enjoyed hearing about all your makes for the year and what you liked or didn’t like about them. I have added a few of them to my Ravelry favorites. As for the blue you are looking for for the Stockholm Slipover, it sounds like a cornflower blue. I hope you find it! Happy New Year!

This is the realness that brings me back to spend time with you over and over. Wondering if you plan to make it to Knit City Toronto as one of your festivals this year? Or have you thought that far in advance? I missed out on a chat with you at Montreal KC 2023. I hope this year brings you more joy and self discovery!

Lovely show and so informative. I laughed when you said you had to go and feed your cat. I had thought it was my cat meowing and I was trying to locate her to see what the problem was. We had a lovely grey cat many years ago that looked very similar to your Yoda, her name was Cinder. Our latest cats have all been black since they are the most likely to not get homes. Happy New Year from BC. Looking forward to your future podcast.

Love all your knits! You inspired me to knit the Salty Air Tee with the Illimami yarn I have bought because I have been wanting to try some wool/cotton or cotton/alpaca blends as opposed to always knitting with wool/merino. I agree with you on the color options of the Illimani yarn…they are mostly muted colors and I wish they had more colors. I think I am also going to knit the Tolsta Tee. I have some yarn from Germany that will prob work for this pattern. Thank you, Selma ❤

Best wishes for 2024. Dont know how you manage to knit 11 garments in a year. The pink vest looks lovely on you. Makes you glow. After visiting Europe 2019 from Australia. I realise how disadvantaged/isolated we are here in the southern hemisphere. I would love to go back and visit Spain and France properly. But our travel costs are high. Strength is something many have found after the effects of Covid.

Thank you Selma for another lovely episode. Have you seen the Sophie Cardigan for your Nutiden - would also give your embroidery skills an outing. Like you I want to work from stash but know that a total yarn ban is for the birds. My plan is to keep track of how much my stash I knit and only buying up to half (in weight) each month!! Will see how I get on.

It's lovely to see all of your garments you made from this past year. I have my portage cardigan that I cast on in 2021, I still have a bit of one sleeve to do and sew the pockets down. Do you think I should block it first then sew them down? I am not sure. 🤔

That’s a good question. The few times I have seen on pickets I have done it before but if the pattern gives instructions to block first, go for it!!
