Joey's vocals is why Anthrax were so unique in the thrash metal scene. Without that move in 1984 to get rid of Neil Turbin being made, we would not be talking about Anthrax in 2022.

He had it when he sounded like a Whirlwin tornado back in 86' for the demo tapes As the gig before Death Angel and exodus
This is so insightful in regards to his relationship to the other members and it's so sad 😭 the band is literally nothing without him yet he's been treated kinda like shit

HI feel so sorry for Joey.. Joey, Frankie and Danny were the best. They were so close together. Even now, Joey said the person he's closest to in the band is either Jon (New guitar guy) or Frankie Bello. He never said anything about Scott or Charlie.. understandable. I miss the Frank Dan Joey Trio.

Scott and Charlie sadly are a just a bit phoney on it hate to say it.. but yeah pretty lame as fcuk all said and done... shape shifters trying to be the business but yeah phoney sad gunts all said

I met Joey when he was out with his solo band around 2008. He was the nicest and most personable guy you could imagine. He had all the time in the world to talk to me and he fucking killed it that night. Awesome rendition of Medusa and Dio's Man on the Silver Mountain. Joey is the fucking King forever!

Chief big way, A league cover band, but the journey tribute band should be great. In fact, journey should can Arnel and replace him with Joey
Joey can say it: the United States favors inferior genre artists because we're soft
Joey is bloody cool... top knotch guy.. Charlie and Scott.. yeahnpretty disappointing... dudnt realise how flakey they were fir attention.. lame AF
Joey could not have performed the songs on Sound of White Noise. Not then, not now, not ever. There are videos and they are terrible.

I went to see anthrax last week in Birmingham UK they played Only and Joey nailed it !!

@@freyabird fuck yeah! I saw them in Toronto on August 23rd and they did the same thing. Joey absoloutley fucking killed it. @abark I've seen that performance and he makes one mistake in the lyrics, give him a break.
