Episode 44. The Uran-9 Russia’s First Combat Robot

Ғылым және технология

In this episode of Combat Approved, the viewers will see the newest Uran-9 combat robot. This high-tech machine has no analogues in the world. The Uran-9 is equipped with the most advanced weapons, including a 30-millimeter cannon, machine gun and guided surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles. And most importantly, it works remotely. Using a special console, the operator can control it at a distance of 1,8 miles. You will see how the Uran-9 independently overcomes obstacles, finds targets and uses weapons in combat conditions. In addition, we will show you unique robotic assault boats that sweep the coast from the enemy, unmanned helicopters that destroy the enemy with grenade launchers, and finally, robot spies specially designed for particularly dangerous military operations.

This is the most powerful combat robot at the moment. The Russians are already creating artificial intelligence, where UAVs interact with the robots on the ground. And I want to add that the Russians are testing equipment in the most difficult climatic conditions. Their equipment must withstand temperatures from +50 Celsius to -50 Celsius. Not one country in the world that produces weapons in such harsh conditions does not experience

Back in 1950s USA made opinion poll in Mexico about what they think about USSR. Almost all Mexicans (70%) perceived Russians neutrally, some part supported. USA decide that it is unacceptable and launched so-called ‘Project Pedro’. They got under control studio Churubusco (one of main studios of Latin America) and launched productions of movies where Americans are ‘good guys’, while Russians/Communists are ‘bad guys’, including rest forms of propaganda. Same about newsreels which were popular at that days. By they estimation each week that propaganda watched over 1,6 million of Mexicans.

@@giggling_boatswain it's an Uran-9, one of the Uran Series! They pumped a lot of Robots out and in different sizes and capabilities! Combat Approved has one episode about them, and in an other they are also shown, including the tests of the equipment against EMP's, and after i saw the tests. I knew why the Russian equipment is bulky and looks stable and massive, almost everything is EMP resistant and this is a achievement in itself (especially because they started to work again on a EMP missile). But the Robots are very interesting, as well as a similar system for the re-equipment of older APC's and Tanks! Very interesting how good they have achieved to upgrade, reuse and save money on the way to modernize their military!

Yes ✊🏻 Let's see what the Host will do this episode 😂😂😂, he is a little bit crazy 👍🏻 He is pushing it to the limit, jumping around, trying crazy stuff, burying sh*t, get hit by stuff or he falling down! But he is going baby 😂😂😂 The Uran-9 had first a middle to low result in Syria which was observed and send by the Company staff in Syria back to the Headquarters, they made changes and the next tests were better in autumn (it was the connection, target and mission ai, and something with the chains) , but the other demining one and + is also in a wide use! The Uran-9 is really armed to the teeth, a 30mm cannon, a machine gun and the ataka or shmel (thermobaric), And they increased the amount of rockets! The Terminator was also mentioned that they may increase the amount, instead 4 (2+2),to 6 or more in each side, The system is able to take more! So they thought 🤔 why not! 😂 But joke aside, the little of information showed that they have done really well! If the connection is disturbed, the Uran-9 is choosing to finish the mission, and then get back to the starting point, it decides if and how, the way back! Or new obstacles are no issue! I knew it 😂😂😂, 2:26 min uiiii 😂😂😂, and he was also the one asking for a fire wall, or such EXTRA stuff! He is a original 👍🏻 Maybe because I would do it as well 😂😂😂

Stonger range would mean , that the remote controller will have to emit a stronger signal , which will be detected and enemy artillery will shoot back . 1-2 miles range is designed to keep the robot 1-2 miles in front , right and left of the actual manned tanks . They are not designed to fight the war on their own, but to protect the tanks from being ambushed by the infantry like in Syria and ukraine.

Issues in any military technolgy at first is common. Even f-35 at beginning and still has lot of isssues. Problems during testing in Syria was blessing in disguise all revealed issues were taken note of solved by 2019 retested and Accepted in service rg.ru/2019/04/04/razrabotchiki-ustranili-vse-nedostatki-boevogo-robota-uran-9.html. Undestimating Russia has become a stereotyped mentality in west. If anything west can't do it better or earler then no-one can.Russia is all outdated. Its same as Tortoise and rabbit race story. Its sputnik V vaccine was ridiculed but when later Reputed Western Medical Journal Lancet Peer Reviewed showed its high efficacy now west is having hard time swallowing the truth. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2021/02/10/russia-sputnik-vaccine-underestimated/
