Episode 177. Russian ships of the future

Ғылым және технология

Stealth technology in shipbuilding, cruise and supersonic missiles, powerful gas turbine engines, and super weapons that cause enemies to hallucinate and vomit. This episode of Combat Approved is dedicated to the newest ships of the Russian Navy, which are replacing the old generation. For the first time on TV, the viewers of Zvezda TV will see the interior of a unique frigate of project 22350 and find out why NATO countries are afraid of it. Our film crew will visit the corvette of project 20385 of the 4th generation. It is armed with the famous Kalibr missiles which passed baptism of fire in Syria during the war against the militants of the terrorist organization ISIS, banned on the territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, Combat Approved will show rare footage of tests of supersonic missiles Oniks and anti-torpedoes Paket-NK.
Another hero of the episode will be a large landing ship of Project 11711, which is capable of carrying heavy equipment in the cargo hold and on deck.

@Alfred Churchill We the Russians will catch and destroy your trident, but what will you do even with one missile, a Zircon or an Avangard, and this is in addition to (also armed with "Satan", "Sarmat", "Yars", " Bulava") which is divided into 16 targets, some of them are false, some carry simulator equipment, and the real ones, like all the others, develop speed within 10 mach while maneuvering and bypassing the zones of destruction and interception . And this is not to mention the Poseidon of a nuclear torpedo on a nuclear engine that can wash away the entire west or east coast of the United States with all the cities I'm not talking about your island. But gentlemen, let's be friends, we call on you to do this, and our government is the same, but your governments are led by the militarists and globalists of the United States who want to rule the whole world as before, Russia will not allow this, all peoples and countries are important and have the right to vote, Putin said.

Superlatives do not begin to acknowledge the brain power, science, engineering, technology, the skilled work force [welders should be honored as a national treasure], the complexities managed to design and create such magnificent vessel machines that give great credit to the ship builders, the Russian Navy that sails them, on behalf of the Russian ship of state, her capable cadre of national and military leaders Putin, Lavrov, Shoigu, Gerasimov, and hundreds if not thousands of others working to the best of ability, heart and soul, serving the people of Russia, giving honor to her history and invincible spirit and those millions who made the supreme sacrifice for all Russia. Brava, bravo, hurrah, hurrah, hurrah! Blessed be thou, great Nation, forever.

I like the ship it appears to be a well equipped well balanced multi purpose frigate One thing I have to add is the inflatable that’s blown up for catching drones seems like it could be improved, it takes time to deploy, I think a simpler solution would be to attach the lines for the net to the superstructure. If higher attachment points are necessary to use telescopic poles, thus making it faster to deploy and less vulnerable to weather conditions

Russian naval planners are more competent than their army counterparts, despite the army being the backbone of Russia's military. They seem to have done everything right to me, so I'll write something on doctrine which I hope they will find useful! Everyone knows that Russia has 4 fleets: Northern, Baltic, Black Sea, and Pacific. As such, her fleets cannot respond to one another and must act independently, something many western analysts cite as the russian navy's biggest weakness. However, her weakness is also her strength. 1. Because Russia spans 3/4 of the eurasian landmass, she has instant access to 4 watery regions. 2. Russia is not dependent on sea routes for internal supply of military bases (except the aleutians and the arctic), that makes the navy's job of defending Russia much easier. Doctrinally, the choice of small and medium surface ships is the right one. These need not go very far, or be deployed for very long; they should stay close to port and be rotated fairly regularly. They should be used as SENTINELS with the technologies focused on detection, agility, and self-preservation (electronic countermeasures!). They should operate in tandem with land-based aircraft, or even venture further, but not too much further. They should have a small armament of advanced and highly deadly missiles to sink high value targets (if possible). The decision to invest most heavily in the submarine fleet is also correct. These are the navy's real teeth. Submarines (nuclear-powered) will be the ones venturing into deep waters or (diesel-electric) sink enemies approaching Russia's coastline. Key naval bases must be fortified to the utmost degree, and the british-ukrainian drone attack on Sevastopol showed us that the russian navy has the capabilities (thank God).

Is so funny to hear him explaining a net. Which is crazy because even back during the FIRST gulf war… IN THE 90s. Even old delapidated ships(cough cough Iowa class) had been upgraded with the capability to launch and catch small drones. I get that naval acquisition is a long and tedious process… but omg. Saying they lag behind is a brutal understatement
