EPIC border crossing in Africa to enter Guinea |S7E37|

In this episode, I cross the border from Guinea-Bissau into Guinea. The border crossing involves getting across a wide river in the middle of nowhere. Next, I ride another 250 kilometers of rough roads through rural Guinea. Exactly the type of adventure that I have been craving!

One thing that I like is that you'll talk about having a long day riding ahead of you and then you'll have the drone up, or you'll stop for something else. You focus on the moment. Another thing is the ability to appreciate things during a 10 hour ride. Riding for so long is not a walk in the park. I find these videos a great metaphor for life. Finding the gems along the way.

Deservedly, Noraly gets most of the accolades but that CRF 300 Rally has been through so many kms of brutal conditions and doesn't disappoint.....just like Noraly. My all time favorite water crossing was the cable cage in the Amazon but there was something about this serene crossing powered by man the way they kept rotating around pulling the cable. Sometimes simple is good. Amazing Noraly can keep batteries charged with spotty electricity to keep those magnificent drone shots coming. Again the music is beautiful. Thank you my favorite teacher. I really enjoy seeing all the different people, cultures and landscapes that Noraly encounters on her travels. And can you believe the stamina this woman has riding for hours in this terrain? As a side note I am proud that currently a Honda product can carry Noraly reliably through all of these adventures. I have been involved with the manufacturing of Honda products for 28 years.

Chadman03elantra; Honda should have itchy boots to sponsor this woman. She represents their brand well and could be a good ambassador for them if she chooses. Should she accept there should be no political constraints on her.

Noraly is in one f the poorest parts of Africa yet the people are friendly and I am amazed at the ease of the border crossings, no bribes or impossible crowds. Some nice drone work again!!

Noraly, "The river crossing went well" while my Daughter oberved "Oh my god that is Roman Era technology". One thing that has not changed is the wonderful people that make up our earth. None the less Noraly, you are quite mad and that is why I honor you.

Loving this series, as a old ‘mulungu’ from Zambia, the recent episodes show some of the simple living I was fortunate to grow up in. This environment can be a tough life for Africans but this is my happy place, and heaven on a motorbike. Betty todavía piensa que eres una chica loca y te envía amor. A bit treacley but your spirit warms us, bedankt.

The Navajo Nation has a saying “ walk in beauty “ and a related prayer which is familiar to the Christian is part of the Lord prayer which in short summary is forgiveness. With your accident you didn’t dwell on negative thinking as different things are a part of everyday life. So with this thought “ ride in beauty” , you’re a good person thanks for allowing us to view the beauty of Africa .

Every time there is a new episode, I learn more about my world thru Noraly. I love how she takes notice of the little things in videos like the smell of the cashew trees...and the drone footage of the red/brown dirt roads going the the jungle....so cool. To see land that outside of the roads and small villages, man has hardly scratched the surface of the land. Thanks for such epic rides Noraly!!!

It's is so cool how everyone that see's our Itchy Boots just can't grasp the thought of a Woman on a Motorcycle going cross Country like she is, then they also can't get over that very nice machine she is driving and all the electronics. Then also the fact that she meets no strangers makes it a lot to take in for them and their face's are so fun to watch when she see's someone for the 1st time 😘

WOW! I am the very first to comment for the second time. It's not the trees that smell so strongly at 6:17, but rather the drupes that fall to the ground and begin fermenting. They smell delicious like wine to me. Omg! That's incredible that they pull a chain to get the ferry across the river. It's very empowering to me. I would love to lend a hand with it. Fantastic video! I want to go!

Noraly at the end of her best episodes: So exhausted she can hardly speak, but she's happy! ☺ I am not surprised the people at the border took long to let go of you. If my Guinean born buddy who lives around the corner from my place is in any way representative of the people in Guinea, you'll risk overstaying your Visa as you got trapped in long funny chats everywhere! 🥳🤗😍 And: Aha! The CFA kind of is the African Euro! Interesting, I didn't know that yet. (Although you told us already, I guess. That's 1 point down with my Itchybooter grade, I fear. 😫)
