Discover how to create a variety of calorie-free, homemade spice blends to enhance your meals and keep your healthy eating exciting and flavorful. No more boring meals🙌
Italian Blend
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
Optional: 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Optional: a pinch of chili flakes
Optional: 1 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
Ranch Seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder (if tolerated)
2 teaspoons dried dill
1 teaspoon dried parsley or cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Taco Seasoning
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder (if tolerated)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Pumpkin Spice Blend
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Optional: 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
For each blend:
Combine all ingredients in a small jar.
Mix thoroughly.
Store in an airtight jar/container.
Label the container with the name and date of the blend.
Feel free to adjust the quantities to suit your taste preferences!
