What I love about this - two working class lads from Liverpool creating a quality podcast. Thank god for KZread. A hundred years ago there’s no way two lads like this would get such a big platform. Also, an observation - barton telling till he’s got big balls fighting in Brazil and Argentina etc at 21/22 … he does, but I think generally the youngsters have less fear.. you tend to get more fear as you age

Good podcast! I like Till. He was thrown to the wolves at a young, and he was excellent, losing by narrow margins after some great victories. I cannot stand people online who dump on fighters. I've lived in Thailand for 25 years and have known many, interviewed some for work, even done some boxing training myself. Even at the lower level, I respect these guys. But to get to the higher level, damn, that takes so much effort, so much skill, so much dedication. I know drama sells fights, but I respect them all. Maybe the online critics should do as I did and show up at a boxing club and see how bloody hard it is, and get a few punches in the mouth (with headgear, for me).

Love this channel joey. Brilliant guests and great podcasts

Darren was one of the big fighters that grew my love of the sport, someone with such a genuine nature and attitude with fooken hilarious banter to go with it. Easy to connect with especially when you see him face so much adversity, you can feel for him, I've empathized with him so much throughout his struggles in his UFC career. I'll always be a fan whatever he does.
