Endemic corruption at City Hall has led to the rot in Nairobi City -
Before its meltdown, Nairobi City was the green city in the sun with beautiful sceneries and well planned residential places for all classes in society. Nairobi is a city under the dump quite literally with garbage, poorly constructed houses and unplanned structures dotting the landscape.
Plans to reshape the city have collapsed over the decades and behind every failure are men and women who were charged with the responsibility of leading the rebirth of the city and cartels that roam the corridors of City Hall.
For more than a year, NTV has been searching for answers as why no leadership however well meaning has succeeded to restore Nairobi's lost glory. Here is Enock Sikolia with our weekend special, Cartel Hall.

Good piece Enock. However, some of your respondents are the same ones under whose watch the city rot deepened. The ministers, MPs, Councillor/Mayor etc
Why should leaders proudly say nothing happened? The job descriptions of these people do not go far enough.

I saw as Huruma was built from the scratch. I used to walk from Jon Saga to the furthest point around No. Ten, and attend Redeemed Gospel church on Sundays and Saturday weddings.. Yes - is started crumbling slowly by slowly to today's sorry state. Oh memories!
