EMOTIONAL DISTRESS IN CHILDREN
We are all living in a time of increased stress these days. Our world as we know it has undergone a drastic shift. As a result, our children are not immune to the impact. Like adults, many kids are struggling right now. It reflects the current state of the world.

This is why I advocate that spiritual leaders need to go and learn, psychology, guidance and counselling, management and leadership. Especially our pastors whom God raises from dust, its imperative that they seek knowledge about these topics so that the body of Christ gets holistic impartation.
💯 educative
Very true! it is not all about good grades Our children need interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence etc. thank you for the show.
amazing topic. "it's not near the absence of disease". Very true
unfortunately..when there is death in the family... most people coming in to grieve with the family, will often talk to the adults in the home...little or no attention is given to the young ones. They always seem to be okay...playing, running their usual routines....but don't you think these young ones also need to be counseled and talked to about the loss? Don't you think the loss affects them psychologically as well? Judy.
Thanks for the show. In my work with parents, I must add that parental emotional wellbeing and mental health greatly impacts their parenting practices especially their ability to appropriately identify and respond to their children’s emotional needs.
Thank you ladies! Very informative. I'm looking forward to a conversation around house helps/nannies and the emotional health of children.
An amazing show.Thanks
Rachel from Bump Love which I followed "faithfully" Nice to meet you here again Dr Evas thx for this great insight. I am an advocate for young people so today, I am blessed to be learning from you. Through the many years of working with young ones, (adolescents and young adults), I have learned that Adults rarely listen to young ones, we blame, and judge them for situations they are going through.
This was very educative. Thank you, panelists!

Thank you so much Dr Evas, Racheal and Dr. Liz.
Parents, the words we tell our teenagers when they have done less than we expect of them will affect them emotionally. Let's mind our tongue more when we are angry because our words will kill or build them, sometimes the effect might be a life time.
Dr. Kutamba ❤️….. such a lovely Pead❤️
Since poverty is more prevalent than not in our environment, how can we help adults better cope with stresses exposed to earlier in their life that impact their response to current circumstance; I think that it (poverty) is major contributor to corrupt practices in our government institutions
Hi am doing BCDf thank dia
My high lights What is my child hearing or seeing from me / environment on a daily basis. What I'm I talking to my child When children are younger they idiolize us, when they grow, they demonize us. We need to nature our children's emotions in the right way Etc
