This interview was very interesting. As Muslims from East Asia, I am very close to Korean Muslims, and they are very confident, and I think Japanese Muslims have a lot to learn from them.Ayana has been a Muslimah longer than me, so I can relate to some of problems that she mentioned. And I also love Islam more after seeing Muslims in Malaysia and Indonesia. The interviewees' questions were very pertinent and I really enjoyed this interview very much. May Allah SWT bless you all.

Here, KJ and Sharil , i am proud of your adab. I watched several interviews of her with a renowned Indonesia ulamak; disappointed when they quickly become 'mengatal', very cringe worthy. But you guys, are simply the best!

Kagum dengan kesungguhan Ayana belajar tentang dunia Islam sejak sekolah lagi, berani pergi konferen antarabangsa seorang diri pakai baju sekolah. Inspirasi kepada pelajar2 kita.
Never knew Ayana Moon has this side to her. Only saw her here and there on social media as a mere influencer. I pray she'll achieve her biggest goal and make Islam familiar to Koreans.
I would say, KJ was not selected as MP last election is bless in disguise. KJ showing an interesting personality and sharing his thoughts with his team is an eye opening and bring varieties to media industry. Not to mention Ayana glass skin is reflecting my excitedness. So pretty. Keep it up kindred Stories!
I have to thank TikTok, which brings me to this channel, salam dr Indonesia

Such an amazing interview. May she always be an inspiration to people and may Allah always bless her and guide her on the right path. And I hope she doesn't mind the bad comments. Only Allah knows our intentions. Ramadan Kareem

As much as I like to listen to her talking but most of the times she’s not answering to the gist of the questions given by KS. But was still a good episode anyhow😊
Suka soalan yang dilontarkan dan saya rasa 'England' yang digunakan ks sudah mudah difahami cuma depth soalan tu mungkin boleh ejas sikit supaya bersesuaian dengan guest. Muda lagi Ayana ni. Mohon jemput Rashdan Ayman Wong pulak lepas ni

Rasulullah said to his daughter Ruqayyah when she was crying because she saw Rasulullah was treated by the Quraish: Islam will enter every house made from mud or bricks.
She is still young and not yet in politics. Would love to see her actual performance in politics. Many intelligent people have succeeded and many too have failed. I would like to hear another conversation you have with her in 10 years time based on her ambitious goals 😊
I would like to suggest Alif Satar for his Geng Subuh movement for your next guest.He's prolly few of the known leading youth,theres infact so many of the unsung youth leaders bt lets start with Alif 1st. And,can you make a 30minutes educational segment introducing races in Malaysia.Our children nowdays only knew of the 3main races but with this segment,you can introduce 1 race per segment...say a Lun Bawang rep or a portugese Melaka rep or an orang asli rep....its a never been done in any Malaysian podcast before but im hoping it will be an eye opener and least sow a spirit of unity amongst us.ty

Both YB KJ and Shahril are really astounding hosts. Love the flow of conversations, questions asked. I, too learned alot from YB KJ, hhe knows hhow to choose the correct words...instead of "gave up," it is "come to terms". I mean, I pun belajar communication skills here.

KINDRED STORIES IS ONE LEVEL HIGHER THAN KELUAR SEKEJAP.
@0900370pian
Ай бұрын
I disagree. Keluar Sekejap has more influences and although politic based, it touches various other branches as well such video of the week, reading of the week, number of the week etc. I learned more on Keluar Sekejap than Kindred Stories. Kindred Stories focus more on Islam related issues and the experiences of the guest.
@RoamingCosmos
Ай бұрын
Its depend on the contexts,. Because keluar sekejap is not focus on the person more to the issue/topic that involve certain individual, while kindered stories focus on the individual that involve certain issue/topic.. However this is just my point of view,.
@1:10:12 "Without money you can't do anything" Same thoughts everyday, especially at this time of age. Ayana being real and upfront about that.
She reminds me of Ustazah Asma Harun, she got multiple businesses and people might see it in a different ways like "cukuplah tu, beribadat pulak".. but no, she keeps on working. Ayana all the best, I pray that, may your goal come true, and semoga dapat jodoh yang tepat pada waktu yang cepat dan tepat❤.
Pandangan saya, KJ dan SH perlu simplify english yang digunakan supaya flow conversation lebih baik, terutamanya bila guest punya english is 2nd or 3rd language. I think some of the questions can be further simplified so that we can get a better explanation from the guest

Another great video
I saw that her thirst for knowledge which relates to what she said about akal, intellect, love to study, understand culture etc. had made her wanting to know more about Islam. Also based on her story. Its like Allah has choose her too to go through the path and eventually in future make a path for more Korean especially to maybe one day embrace Islam or at least be more visible and significant. Personal experience. Went to Korea in 2010 vs Japan. Korea seems like a closed door & foreign for Islam compared to Japan. Even their awarnes on Halal & Halal Food certified body came way more later. Imagine Seoul Central Mosque in Itaewon serounded with really "interesting" (read: lorong haji taib kind of) place 😅
Ayana Jihye Moon, what an inspirational woman, her struggle in order to learn about Islam can be motivation to others, what a fascinating experience, thanks for sharing with us

Very inspirational conversations...Ayana you're already an exemplary Korean muslim icon. Your vision, your mission & your future goals are so exciting to many Muslims, including myself. Congratulations. Stay focused on your determination to be a good example to other Korean Muslims. Your emphasis on being well educated as part of your journey is in line with Islam. One day inshAllah you'll be a very important Islamic figure in Korea, a leading Muslim politician who becomes the agent of change for all muslims in Korea. I'm so so proud of you. Thank you KS for doing the interview. It was interesting to know what it is like to be a Korean Muslim, the challenges that they face, the ongoing conflict that occurs in Korea, and the characters of a Muslim figure in Korea. I think Ayana did very well answering all the questions, and from her answers, it is noticeable that she has a strong personality (she can be a bit defensive as well) but that's what makes Ayana, Ayana. On a side note, I do feel like the guest needed some time to comprehend some of the questions (probably because before all of her interviews were short and less structured) and to have them answer spontaneously might lead the conversation to a bit more 'controversy' in some of her answer (i.e., her perspectives on Muslims residing in Korea). Suggestions maybe in the future, KS can study more on the guest background and try to adapt to the guest PR level and decide whether should you put metrics or steer the conversation to a more targeted answer or maybe KS can learn to smile more when the guest did not answer your question :D
Very inspiring conversation...to kj & shahril, don't let the past poison today! Thing change.
Smart lady and good looking too. All the best Ayana!

54:43 In Indonesia there is a mosque in the form of a linmas similar to Javanese Hindu culture which was built by the Wali Songo to say that Islam has not disappeared, of course culture does not violate religion.Wali Songo often spread religion with culture. There is also a mosque in the shape of a Chinese temple
Kindred should invite Koh Dondy Tan from Indonesia a Muslim convert who is expert in Christology and Jonathan Nandar also a muslim convert also from Indonesia who can speak Jewish, Greek and English...
