I have been an anti Riba for 9 years. I listened to Imran Hosein, Dato Abdul Manaf (Ex- Bank Muamalat CEO), LaRiba, Dr Zaharuddin. I have been 'lost' in life after being hardline of No Riba and lived secluded for almost a year (2016). And Alhamdulillah recovered and now working and got married like normal Muslim. After listening to Junaid, my heart felt back alive with my and spirituality fighting spirit. Junaid's vision and mission is the most admirable one. His direction is from Islamic value and morality (genuinely from his internal consciousnesses) combined with practicality from his knowledge and experience. Hopefully I can fight and live a purposeful life like Junaid one day.

@@karakchai He does not solve anything about riba, he is building masjid in a sinking ship is what it is. Its dangerous because he is like come guys come here we pray in this beautiful masjid i just build. Then baaam! ship sunk. Killed all the sheep. The whole idea of the institution is taking the masses money and investing it themselves rather than "bank" does it for "us". He just a competitor of banks nothing more. His father is a stock broker bruv. Think again. The most absurd theory i have ever heard so far in my life coming out from this guy mouth.

@@thepencilcase1329firstly, what his father did has nothing to do with him. Just because your father is a meat eater, it doesn’t stop you from possibly being a vegetarian. Secondly, please elaborate on what you mean by ship sunk? Thirdly, how is Wahed the same as a bank? A bank gives loans and charges interest on those loans. Wahed’s concept is completely different. It helps you keep your money somewhere where it’s not directly being used to create capital for Riba.

@@thepencilcase1329and Wahed doesn’t just ‘take’ the masses money. The money still belongs to the individual who is investing, it is just invested in a series of asset classes. It is still your money and doesn’t ‘belong’ to Wahed.

Hope Wahed invest could lower their wrapping fee 0.79% ; and HLAL ETF from 0.5% to 0.03% like VOO, so investors could gain more profits from their investments. InsyaAllah.
