I got them,its insane! I'm looking for new stuff about Embergen, thank you very much
Crazy how quick and responsive this is. I'd love to see the process of importing into max and integrating with a scene along with seeing things imported from MAX into Embergen
I'm so happy you're playing around with EmberGen. Can't wait to see all the tutorials you come up with. A lot of explosions, I hope!
Can't wait to see all the cool stuff you gonna show us with embergen. 🔥🔥
Just Love it...I'm so excited to see you making these new tutorials 🤘🤘
Super awesome tutorial, subbed and liked the video and hope there is enough of an audience for more tutorials because honestly not enough embergen tutorials and your work is awesome so can't wait to see what else you can make with the software
Yess , we need embergen tutorials!!!
this is one of the best embergen tutorials out there, you just didnt walk us through but explained what the things you touched actually do. i genuinly understand embergen a bit better now! definetly can use some more of your tutorials with embergen

sure! embergen is definitely a good stand alone tool to work between different softwares. The good thing is you can play realtime and then export in VDB to work with any renderers.
The tutorial is really awesome and clean, hope there are more and more coming out.
Very cool! Awesome looking result. There's a lot of value to Embergen, especially for games.
Very well explained and very helpful. More EmberGen tutorials would be great! Thank you for the content!
yes, more embergen tutorials !!!!

Brilliant, I can't wait to see more, the 3ds max and vray integration / importing /exporting, and hopefully soon LiquiGen
Embergen is amazing! Holy crap. Great tutorial.
Great tutorial! Please do more Embergen!
Yesss, very instructive as always :)
Love it. More Embergen content please. Also walkthrough on exporting image sequences for compositing apps.
Please, i'd love to see more about EmberGen! Thx
This is the first time I've seen a tutorial other than 3DS Max.😄
Man, you are doing an amazing job and we all are grateful for your effort and hard work on it! I remember when I've commented the older videos about simulations with tyFlow, and always you were attention with everyone. I also remember when I was happy to see a video about destruction and you replied talking something "I knew that you would like it" hahah You deserve all the success... all the best man!!

So awesome I cant wait to try this out when I get embergen. Ive been tossing up on it for a while but it looks like a great program to learn.
more more more love it!!
So buzzed your gonna do embergen!
This is awesome. I love the speed. Also, your tutorials are great. Right to the point. No fluff about your cat and what you ate last night. lol
Thank you for the tutorial. Please do as many tutorials as time permits.
Was looking to this after you posted on insta!
Great Video, thanks Jesse! One thing I would like to see is integration into 3dsmax workflow with Vray. Nice work!
For those struggling to make the point force really attract to a small area, go to the simulation node > force and uncheck Solid Ground.
Great job 👍
thank you so much!
Hi, yes I Want to Know more about EmberGen. Yes more tutorials

Nice software!! More to your community pleas!
The answer to the question at the end of the lesson is YES! More tutorials on EmberGen! It's just great) Learning that is fun and improves skills, what could be better? Looking forward to more lessons!

Hey @RedefineFX and thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! I'm compositing this over some live action footage and i was wondering if there is a way to export the shadows information without the ground as i don't need it in the shot. Thank you in advance for your help and time!
Hi Jesse, As always you did a good job! Of course you can do more tutorials like this one. I would like to see a simulation in EmberGen that you axport in VDB, and you put that VDB inside TyFlow. Thank you so much for your work I've learned a lot

Why there's no great detail with Embergen like you see with FumeFX or Phoenix?
how to export and re use!
I like to see how to add th8ngs into it maybe text or logo
Hi Jesse, I like your series of videos very much, but I don't know how to export particles into a file in abc format, it seems that there is no such option, may I ask what you can do? Thank you!
Please make embergen tutorial. I’ll buy a full class of embergen tutorials.

😄 yes, already working on more
Great vid as usual, would love to see more and also how to import as a VDB (pro's/con's compared to Phoenix etc) into a larger scene in Max and Vray. Maybe if more people understood this then there would be a higher demand for more tutorials like this... I assume it won't interact with TyFlow yet?
@RedefineFX
Жыл бұрын
Yep, those videos are coming. You'd have to export your tyflow sim as alembic or fbx and import into embergen. I knew the comparisons between Phoenix / Embergen were inevitable since most of my audience are 3Ds Max users, but I see embergen as more of an alternative tool that can be used by the entire CG community, not just the Max crowd, rather than a Phoenix competitor. Phoenix is amazing because it lives inside of Max already + can do liquids.

Wow love it!! It's linked to Tyflow as Phoenix? Or I can just import it to 3ds max ?
@RedefineFX

Currently the only way to bring embergen sims into Max is by exporting them into VDB and importing. Then you can use vray volume grid to render it out.
The fact that nothing has been baked... I'm gonna get good at this program and then ask my studio to buy it lol. This would save sooo much time
Did you know "Final Fluid" by cebas?, its like EmberGen for 3dsMax
@RedefineFX
Жыл бұрын
Sure, I know it exists, but it's only for Max. Embergen is for everything so it took priority. Would love to play around with final fluid too at some point
super interesting .. please keep up with real-time stuff.. specially exporting as animated fog/mist cards to unreal engine as flipbooks :D :D :D ♥

very cool Tutorial
Thank you for the tutorial! How EmberGen can be used for 3ds max users? Can I port animation/particles some how to 3ds max?
@RedefineFX

Right now the only way is to export the sim as a VDB and import into max. This can then be rendered with Vray volume grid
@jangafx
Жыл бұрын
You can also export particles as Alembic.
I imported another object, show emitter is turned off, yet It still is visible, any ideas on how can I fix that?
which version is it 1.0.1 ?

Can i make vfx in EmberGen and then export it to unreal engine with the same quality?
@RedefineFX

Yes but only for pre-rendered cinematics. VDBs at this level of detail will not playback in real-time inside of an actual UE game.
Bright. How to do something like that with Blender?

I don’t know but you can import this into blender
why isn't the light being exported for me?

lights don't export. You need to recreate the lighting in your 3D software

Can the colors be exported to unreal engine ? I know vdb can be imported but when i’m making things like this i cant export lights or colors from ebmer to the ue5 there is only smoke density and i dont know how to help it 😢

Currently no, colored smoke will not transfer over however the fire color will using the flames channel inside the VDB and you can change those colors in UE
