He is the only man for whom i feel sorry and angry that he didn't ever get an Oscar. He was an actor who played with some of the best names in Hollywood but never got the full recognition that he deserved. He was always the secret ingredient in their soup that made it perfectly tasteful, but the ones that where mentioned most, were the familiar ones.

This is the saddest moment in my life. I always had a dream that some day I would see him face to face. A great Actor, my dream died but he lives in my heart. My most favourite actor.

Ummm...Hide, the last scene in the movie was very open ended. You don't know if Tuco lived or died...which I loved. Director's touch!

Eli Wallach was a very Good Actor and recipient of many awards. His action in Movie “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” was superb. Hats off to him. The sad demise of him moved my heart to say “condolences” to his bereaved family and his close associates.

God Bless Eli Wallach!! Mr. Wallach was a brilliant actor and person. I think that would have been the neatest thing in the world to sit down and talk with him. He was the kind of actor who embodied the roles he played. When I watch The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, he does not seem to be acting when he plays Tuco! Course, that is how I feel about Eastwood and Van Cleef too! I look forward to meeting you someday in the kingdom, Mr. Wallach!

An unforgettable actor. The character Tucco in " the good, the bad and the ugly" itself is spell binding in which he personified the averocity of a man who loved money more than himself. The last scenes in which his performance is remarkable which even Sergio Leone himself might not perhaps have expected that he would live the character from tip to toe.

Should have won an Oscar for his portrayel as Tucco.

RIP Mr. Eli Wallach! The treasure and gold of heaven awaits you! Thanks for everything!

Amazing actor

A true talent. His and Cloris Leachman's segment in New York I Love You is the best in the film. He lived a long full life and was as wily as ever to the end. RIP

I watched the good the bad and the ugly for the first time around 1 month ago and i was looking up the cast and saw that eli was still alive at the age of 98.. I was surprised and was wondering how long will it still be... I just looked him up again seeing he passe away... its really sad. he seemed really fit

I feel like he perfected the art of playing Bandit Chief/Outlaw by basically doing the same role In "How the West Was Won,", "The Magnificent Seven", and "The Good The Bad, The Ugly" ! I am Echoing all of the statements given so far, in saying that he was one of my favorite actors. I was exposed to his acting talents in his role with Marilyn and then continued my love affair with Eli in The Seven and on and on and on... RIP MR Wallach !
