THANK YOU for posting this video. Saved me so much headache. My boyfriend was about to go insane and return the pedestals out of frustration. The instructions depict the wrong bracket placement and the CORRECT WAY looks like it sticks out too far (it works though!). THANK YOU AGAIN!

Thanks for the video...brackets installed. Tomorrow will disconnect, mount, and reconnect - I'm hoping brackets will be good...looks like the dryer is not as deep as washer so I'm hoping it'll work without a problem.

You dont need to lift washing machine on the pedistal! If its new install brackets and put washer on left side! If its used you can flip it on left side right away and instal pedestal ! Dryer is easy to lift, but you can move it on the left side also WAY easier!

EXCELLENT! Sure wish I had looked at this yesterday before the delivery and install of my washer/dryer -- the delivery crew spent well over an hour and eventually left without being able to install the washer correctly -- The Electrolux instructions are absolutely WRONG!!

Only thing not covered here is what to do with the feet on the washer and dryer. The installation people the company sent to install ours took the feet completely off the washing machine and were going to throw them away. From what I have seen looking at other videos, they are just supposed to be screwed all the way up. Is that correct?

How do you remove the pedestal drawer to clean it?

I wasn’t able to lift the washer onto the pedestal, so had to follow the instructions and have it on its side. Now my washer won’t work. Do you have suggestions? Pedestal install went great otherwise.

Do the feet on the washer come off or screw up all the way before mounting on the pedestal? Our installer left the feet on and screwed out so there is a more than 1/2” gap between the machine and pedestal. Thanks in advance for any help

On the pedestals I received it says screw feet in the dryer and washer before installing the pedestals

Do not over tighten just get the feet down the min. There will be a gap.

I had to make new front brackets because mine were 1/4” too short.

the feet stay on. just screw them all the way in

I wish I'd seen the video before installing the pedestal drawer. I the mistake of placing the back brackets even with the pedestal.
