The washer and dryer should be put in place and leveled before the drawers are reinstalled.

I got a good deal from a used appliance store on a set of pedestals for my Kenmore Elite He2's, but they did not have the mounting machine screws. What size screws do I need? (SAE/metric? length? diameter? thread pitch?) Thanks.

you forgot the most important part, leveling the four feet before reinstalling the drawer or else the washer will have major wobbles during spin cycle.

Does anyone know where to get replacement 'shipping bolts'? Can I use something similar? If not....can I put the washer on it's side without damaging the drum? Thanks.

Can I use my old pedestal on a New Whirlpool front load washer?

I have used old pedestals from a 13 year old purchase and they fit/align the same. The washer in particular is heavy so it's difficult to do the tipping up and down of the unit with the base in place without two people or more strength than I have.
