I am so grateful some MFGs allow you to reverse the doors. This is a must for smaller laundry rooms. This worked for my Electrolux washer/dryer 600 series tower unit (2024).

Thanks, the video was great. Since the "new" side hasn't be used before, I "treaded" the four empty holes with one of the screws before holding the door and screwing it down. This step made it really easy to turn the screwdriver to mount the door.

When I try to put the screws in the new holes, they go and then get super tight before they get anywhere, I can’t tighten them because I start stripping the head, any ideas?

Easy to follow video. Thanks! I should have read the comments first. I should have threaded the screws in the new side before installing the door. That was a good tip.

So for anyone who has had problems with the screws going in I ended up getting wood/metal plated steel screws 10X5/8. They fit!

When I attempted reversing my electrolux dryer door, the door latch did not align properly. I could not find an acceptable way to make any adjustments. Can you provide any advice on how to either adjust the door latch or the hinges to correct for alignment issues?

I had the same issue. The latch is completely off the hole of the strike pad. Any luck finding a solution?

Arghhh having the same issue. latch not aligning. I really don't want to take a Dremel to grey latch assembly plate or the black door striker... (looks like Electrolux does not look at or respond to these comments...)

Try loosening all 4 hinge screws just enough for a wiggle. Then tighten the 2 screws that go in sideways first, then tighten the front facing screws. I just did this method for mine. Latch works fine.

I am having the exact same problem as Daniel, the door latch is about 1/4" higher than the striker. There is enough flex in the sheet metal to close the door but its very hard to open.

I measured the screws, they're metric M5x0.8 12mm long. Socket head cap screws fit behind the door on the side and are much easier to drive than Phillips.

I have older model from 2017, My door latch Comes in 2 pieces cover and jast latch with additional 2screws. Am I still able to reverse the doors?

super easy , but one of the 4 screws in the door hinge is not a screw. has the screw head but no threads. i couldn't remove it first and when i finally did i realized it has no threads. so now the door hinge has only three screws

Is there a website to buy a piece?
