I recently purchased a Frigidaire portable air conditioner that also functions as a heat pump. However, we will only be using it as an air conditioner. The instructions state that it’s not necessary to attach a condensation drain line when using it as an AC since it utilizes the condensed water to help cool the unit. In conditions of extreme humidity, what happens to the excess moisture when the unit reaches its capacity, if that's possible?

I cant wrap my hear around why there is a long bottom bold attached to the cabinetry first, more specifically why that would be installed before knowing how/where the top trim is going to align first!

This video does not get an A. I came here since I misplaced my manual and am having trouble inserting the end of the hose into the hole opening in the window. It's very disappointing at 12:46 where Mr. Hughes stops his video at that point since he must not have known how it snaps in. Then he resumes the video after the hose was inserted so the viewers missed how it was done!! It's too bad some people forget the purpose of the video is to help people out.

Excellent video, what we all needed to reverse the doors. It seems that only one of the door sensors are actually “active” which is the latch side. The hinge side is just a “holder.” You will need a very good screw driver bit, otherwise you risk stripping the screw - press hard while screwing in, I used a ratchet type to make it finger tight. Do not over tighten.
This installer did not check bottom gasket operation. I Did exactly as prescribed. When I did it, Gasket on main fridge door was catching on edge of refrigerator face. Had to pull bottom pin mount flange out a little. Not sure if I was able to get a good seal. Disappointingly complicated, with questionable end result. I have to monitor future fridge gasket operation.
How do you remove class to clean . Which screws do you remove
Does anyone know if we can buy an additional window ventilation bracket so we can move the unit from room to room? We would like to lock in the vent plate & not have to re-install each time? We've looked at the provided parts but there's no information for spare vent plates. Thank you!

The water heats from the bottom and works its way up regardless of how it’s distributed into the tank. And sediments sink to the bottom regardless of how the water is distributed into the tank.
The Y-joiner is put on in the wrong orientation. It should be 90 Deg to the way its installed so that water will drain instead of sumping in the bottom drain hose which will cause a smelly drain

Key tip: Use a number 2 square bit and not a #2 phillips screwdriver! Also if can't tighten the bottom screw because the door won't open all the way (wall in the way) use the #2 square bit and a small box wrench or ratchet wrench.
I am so grateful some MFGs allow you to reverse the doors. This is a must for smaller laundry rooms. This worked for my Electrolux washer/dryer 600 series tower unit (2024).
