I finally fixed my damaged 105 series electric antenna check it out here. My first time doing it (you will be able to tell lol) but pretty straight forward process and under 10minutes.
should be the same or similar for most cars.
(IF... it's broken when you pull old mast rope out you will need to remove the whole aerial assembly to remove broken bit first.)
