I associate this song with my baby girl that never got to live. Shes evergreen. She smiled in ultrasounds. It was weird how I had so much love for someone I had never met. And maybe because I was only 16 at the time it was a part of a plan. Her dying saved my mom, she passed from a rare condition that was genetic and because of that they found my mom also had it and she had surgery that saved her life. Same here. We met through mutual people and then 3 months later he got me my first job. Without realizing we had meet 3 months prior. We have been friends and lovers for 15 years and just a little over 3 years ago we made it offical and had a family. We got together later but it's worth when we realize that this was our time. Right now. Later in our lives like it should be. Right where we are. He is still my best friend and he was SOOOOOO worth the wait. Be friends first. So I'm a firefighter and a few years ago we had a bad call. Man hit by a car in the middle of the night. The guy lost his life sadly. He was walking with a birthday cake when we arrived on scene we did our primary and found his legs no longer attached to his body beside this birthday cake. The cake didn't have any issue was still fully intact. The body was with the car. While we where waiting for the coroner to show up we had traffic stopped from going down the highway. We turned the radio on and this song literally started with when your legs don't work like they use to before. We looked at each other and shut it off. That was enough radio. It's small.things like that that remind us of the trauma we see.

I slow danced to this with my high school sweetheart 6 years ago. May 29th, 2015. We had a baby and broke up 2017. I miss her so much. I wish I didn't break her heart like a dumbass. But, you live and you learn.

If you ever listen to a song… Have you ever listen to a song and that song reminds you of that love that never was or couldn’t be? If you ever listen to that song, is not that love doesn’t love you; it is really that it couldn’t be for a reason. Could be destiny, or perhaps a forbidden love, but that doesn’t mean it was never meant to be. If you ever listen to that song and that song makes you cry, think that somewhere, perhaps on a long distance, they are feeling the same way and crying all out loud whenever they listen to the same song. It is better to have a forbidden love somewhere at the distance than being alone holding a desperation on a need to be loved.
