As a man who literally had to watch the woman I love be with someone else, even married, this song will always hit me on the deepest level. There were times I had ask people to change the radio station when this song was out. And no one ever questioned me about it, they knew it I was hurt. I could only listen to this song when I'm alone but it's become a guilty pleasure to make myself cry when I'm tired of being strong.

My daughter is 2 years old. This song makes me think of the day she gets married, and how no matter how much time I spend with her, how much I dance with her, how many flowers i bring her, it'll never be enough. One day she'll grow up and fall in love and I won't be the man she looks to anymore. Our time with them is limited. I can honestly say this is the only song that has ever moved me to tears.
