Hits different when you’ve been through it. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s the type of pain that has you crying into a pillow at 4 am. Can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t even think. What’s crazy is that I wrote this comment in the middle of the night when I was really going through it. I never for one second thought that this many people would respond or resonate with it. I hear you. It's funny how you naturally understand the lyrics of songs like this one much better after you've grown and gained a lot of life experience. Of course, you can piece together and somewhat understand what's being described in the lyrics but it all hits so much harder when you're either going through or have been through it but they're just a tapestry of words that you can't quite relate to just yet.
