Because politics is farce, it's window dressing for bad company. A short-term strategy used by politicians to make their shortsighted political goals look more appealing to voters. The goal is to attract more people and more money, hopefully boosting the next general election period's bottom line.

I’ve noticed that the framing of the events never allow for supporting Palestinian safety on its own. It’s have to constantly be compared to an Israeli one. Like even with the antisemitic discussions (which are important to call out), there is almost no discussion of the islamphobia that has been so normalized. Like they’ll literally call all Palestinians terrorists and say that Gaza needs to be razed. It’s insane how they’ll do mental gymnastics to defend islamphobia while decrying anti-Semitism. Very brave, Owen.. commendable to stand your ground. Much appreciation from India. The last bit about "I don't watch your podcast" hahaha it was a perfect punch back at his unreasonable defence and gaslighting position.

The only person of these 4 who was there, on Saturday's march, was Owen yet the others think they know better. I was on the march and I know Owen is telling the truth. I did see 2 unacceptable placards but that was amongst many hundreds of placards calling for peace, a ceasefire, and justice for Palestinians. The march was huge. It stretched chockablock from Marble Arch to the other side of Lambeth Bridge. My part of the march only got as far as the bottom of Hyde Park from 12.30 to 3.15pm because of the sheer number of people in front of us, including all ethnicities, ages, women, men and children, on the march.

Imagine calling someone else "intellectually second rate" when the thing Ed Balls is most famous for is tweeting his own name.

Well done Owen. Very difficult situation and you still managed to keep an even temper and get your points across.

The absolute obsession they have with their political opponents having to condemn Hamas (even when they already have), whilst they refuse to condemn Israel for it's mass continued non-stop slaughter that makes Hamas's terrorist attack look utterly inconsequential in comparison, is just so aggravatingly ridiculous.
