Finally. It always amazes me how most of the US population does not realize that the US government is out of step with the rest of the world on this issue. It is eerily similar to the end of apartheid in South Africa, where the rest of the world took action but the US dragged its feet for years. The Israel lobby has influence over so many US politicians that freedom for the Palestinian people will be much harder to achieve.

Eh, the overwhelming amount of US allies/vassals are very much in lockstep. Germany, France, GB, Japan, Australia ect - all supressing pro-palestionian or israel-critical voices and taking clear positions that one party is supposedly an allied democratic state while the other party is a terror organization - ignoring israeli non-Bibi opposition as well as palestinian non-hamas victims. The US empire likes to have its proxy in the near east, and periphery follows the hegemonic center by and large. The rebublic of ireland has been a happy exception.

It amazes me that anybody thinks the US populace cares that its government might be out of step with the rest of the world. America charts her own course, regardless of the rest of the world because nobody can or will make it do otherwise. 100 years as the most powerful nation on the planet and close to 50 as the only superpower will do that to you. You're giving the US population more agency than they have, and far more than the majority choose to exercise.

- When he heard of the 10/7 massacre he was "initially happy" because he thought "only 50 Israeli's" were murdered. When he learned the number was far larger he thought it went too far, but still won't condemn Hamas or call them a terrorist organization. - He is sympathetic to the Charlie Hebdo murderers that killed 12 and injured 11 in Paris and believes they were justified. - He FREQUENTLY sights a author by the name of David Irving who is a Holocaust denier that questions Auschwitz and the gassing of the Jews. He was discredited in a famous British lawsuit in 2000 where under oath he had to prove his claims about the Holocaust being faked. Turns out he was his own source and was/is a liar. - Finkelstein sites David Irving extensively in all of his books and as recently in 2020 (in a conference on Zoom which is on KZread) and still calls David Irving a very reputable source. -He believes that Russia is justified in invading Ukraine!

Please be respectful, he is Prof. Norman Finkelstein, he has been studying and chronicling on this issue for over 4 decades!
