    I am 6'6" and am trying to find a good option for a tall guy . My inseam is 36" so I need a seat that will rise enough. Any thoughts on that?

    I am 6'0" and it is maxed out for me. Chinese products are only made for right handed short people with large hat, glove and shoe sizes.

    Thanks for the review. I thought the flywheel should be 18kg or more. Is 13kg flywheel good enough for a spin bike?

    Hi Jagjit, It feels pretty good and heavy getting it up to speed. I didn't notice much difference between the heavier versions. Hope thats helps a little 👍

    Do you think the resistance is strong enough to get virtually anyone out of breath and above 160 heart rate? How smooth is the resistance at the highest levels?

    Yeah, I should have mentioned this. Shows most of the data you'd expect to see (power, distance, calories, cadence etc) hope that helps

    I have the ex3, it’s a solid reliable spin bike. I use the apple fitness plus, so the lack of built in screen suits me. I do link my phone on the freestyle option so I know cadence and resistance etc. great alternative to the peloton!

    If I want to use Fitness+ do I need to load the Echelon app, turn on Freestyle mode and then go to Fitness+?

    @@jimdevicoyes that’s what I do. I use my Apple TV for fitness + but you can use an iPad, then I use my phone on freestyle so I can see cadence and resistance etc. works a charm.

    Can you adjust the tension without the bike being connected to anything? I see a bike in Marshall's but the adjuster just spi s but the tension does not change

    It's a magnetic based trainer so needs to be plugged in to notice a change in resistance. Hope that helps

    Hi, yes you can. It's in the freeride mode. Allows you to use the bike with any spin class video which is nice and saves a few pennies too. Hope that helps

    I just purchased this used (brand new but used once per the seller) the tension knob isn't working. Do you have to adjust tension while holding down? I can't find any material on this

    it's just a classic knob twist that you can't go too far wrong with! Not sure what's wrong with yours but maybe ask the seller if it was fully working

    No the resistance has to be changed by twisting the big red knob in the middle. Hope that helps

    @@shaolin95 it’s not got the auto resistance feature. You manually change it with the big red knob In between your legs (non silly pun intended). Hope that helps

    Not sure on this one, you can use this as a dummy trainer with any app… but it won’t change resistance with elevation automatically

    What is the difference between the Ex3 and the Connect Sport? Is the EX3 worth $500 more?

    Not a huge difference between the models, the most significant difference between the Echelon bikes is the weight of the flywheels, with the Connect Sport's considerably lighter at 7kg than the EX3's 13kg. ... Other than that, the Sport is very similar to the EX3, only lacking extras like dumbbell holders and pedals that work with clip-in SPD bike shoes. Hope that helps

    There are more differences but I would go for the ex5 instead on sale for just$200 more than the connect You get, adjustable handle back and forth, better tablet holder with USB, weights holder, dual water holder, auto resistance adjustment with apps like Pelotton, better pedals and heavier flywheel

    It's pretty comfortable, I'd still recommend getting some indoor padded turbo shorts as they make a massive difference to any spin training. Hope that helps 👍

    I just found the echelon 3 bike 1/2 price. I’m used to working out with free KZread videos. Will the 3 still tell me my calories burned, pulse, resistance .... if I don’t get a membership?

    BARGAIN! I believe so, you can run the system on a "freeride" mode which is basically the same thing without the personal trainer telling you what do (what your KZread video will replace). Hope that helps!
