How do you increase the resistance through the app> I can connect to swift but cannot increase the resistance on the bike for more power output. I'm spinning at 5 resistance at a 90 cadence and only muster 16 mph in Zwift due to the resistance not working.

This is beyond my knowledge. Resistance on my spin bike is mechanical

Does the app keep track of your stats somewhere? I would like something to save automatically so I can compare my previous rides and maybe calorie tracking

No, but most APPs you connect to have that benefit. Strava is a good example. I ride with Zwift then Zwift automatically posts to Strava.

The app also allows you to save .fit files to your phone (iphone confirmed) that can be transferred to Training Peaks, Strava, etc. t.b.h, I think that on it's own is enough to buy the app.

Hi. Great app. Is this app compatible with just the the Echelon connect bikes or will it work with other smart bikes that have the same connections but not zwift compatible out of the box? Such as life fitness IC range for example? Thanks

Hi there, thank you for the video, I have a couple of questions if it’s ok. I’m new to Zwift and I just got a new bike (echelon) and I have the Roberto’s app, and I can connect to the app and connect to Zwift. My old bike had an app where I would literally move resistance app and down and it would show in the app my elevations, my cadence, etc, so ride for like 60 min a graphic of up and down raising my resistance, speeding up, slowing down etc.My question is “ is there anything like that on Zwift? Does it automatically change my bike resistance up or down when I have to change (using Roberto’s app)? Thank you so much, and sorry I’m just starting this whole thing, saw a ton of videos and still not completely understanding.

I bought an Echelon Sports new for $350. I'm hoping I made a good investment in my health. My question to you is how does the A7 tablet fare? Does Zwift run smoothly? Any lag? There aren't really options that aren't too expensive when I'm only ever going to use it for the bike.

I no longer ride the Echelon so nit sure I remember how the A7 worked. I believe I used it only for Companion and used my phone for Zwift. The A7 is somewhat limited because it is a cheap tablet and does not have several key features.

@@RVeCafe In your video you are using your phone for QZ and Zwift companion. You are using the tablet for the Zwift program.

@@riube If you are looking for me to recommend the A7, I can't do it. Lately, I have had nothing but problems with Samsung products including the A7 and the S20 Ultra phone. On the other hand, if you purchase the A7 from Costco, you can return it within a 90 day period if it doesn't work for you.

@@daleprohaska thanks. I see that it pretty much has the bare minimal specs required. Maybe if Zwift can be run without the graphics and just the resistance changes, it could be efficient. I have never used Zwift, so I don't know if that's an option. I'll figure it out.

@@riube I currently use my Samsung s20 Ultra for Zwift my Samsung S6 for companion and I'm riding a Wahoo Kickr direct drive with my bike. I use Screen View to cast to my TV from my S20 Ultra.

The problem with my echelon exchelon ex3 is that the resistance wont activate untill i connect the bike to ecehlon app. Now if i connect the swift first then bluetooth is not displayed and wont get resistance

@@elliebean77 i figured this 0ne out, have to download third party app q domios on another device then this app grab all info from the bike. Once all info is gathered by this device the swift will find this device and grab all infonlike cadence power etc. Hope it help

Also the bike will work infependently without any app as long as you pedal first without stopping then adjust the resistance, ull nit able to see anything but it works, once you stop pedalling resistance will go back to zero.

Do a search on KZread on how to do a split screen on an Android phone. You just open both APPs you want in the split screen then press the 3 bars at the bottom of the screen to bring up both APPS at the same time. Long press the first APP and a menu will come up, choose "split screen" then choose the other APP for the other screen.
