Probably the best tape going around in the day, brilliant set and MC matchup, classic!......The best of times for rave...Seems like yesterday, riding my bike around, this blasting in my earphones, tripping...that was 30 years ago, jesus

Omg! This set is still without doubt the biggest set of all time💪🏼(for me at least). Its what got me into the scene in 92 and my first proper paid outdoor event at Universe in 2 orbit May 1992 in Bath. Man, the memories 💊💊❤️🙏🏼 Even though 92 was my biggest year 91 was the year to produce the biggest sounds of the Hardcore era. Just so thankful to have been there and experience it. One love groovers ☝🏼❤️✌🏼

This was such a ground breaking set that we all had all over the country. Just a masterpiece it was and is. 1991 was the best for the awesome old school tracks we All still love today. Vamp outlander digital boy Kokko just so many to mention & N joi where smashing the pa scene like the techno wizards they were. BRILLIANT MIX. 🤩

Here in march 2024 raving like its original 1992 time

I grew up in Easton Bristol and used to go to Dirty Dennis' flat mid 80s and watch him mixing totally bizarre tunes EastEnders themes Disney stuff all sorts of weirdness along with his beats he had 4 decks and the biggest bass bins I'd ever seen in my life. We also went raving to his sets a few years later. What an absolute LEGEND he should have made the super stardom that much lesser DJs made he was so talented.. Whistle possy come alive!!

I grew up in a place called Cramlington. It’s in Northumberland about 5 miles north of Newcastle. I went to a school just on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre. I therefore had to get a bus in every day which at that time in the morning took about an hr with the traffic. I can’t exactly remember how I got a hold of it but I had this set on tape. For the best part of 2 years during 92 and 93 I used to listen to the whole thing every morning going in on the bus. Day after day. Month after month. I was in my own little world at the back of the bus every morning smoking my tabs and rocking to easy groove. It got to a point where I could copy the MC word for word. I could nail everything that the MC says at exactly the right point. It was ingrained in my bonce. The mad thing is......After all these years of not listening to this set I whacked it on the other day and I can still pretty much do the MC word fir word. I reckon I’m about 80% there. Fucking quality set. Quality MC. Quality memories. Easy Groove on the 1s and 2s!!!!! .

Never say never.....even at 45 years old I reckon I’d give it a good go!! Been doing some mixing recently like. I’m not that good but I do enjoy it. Been mixing some of the tracks of this set this weekend.....not too shabby some of the mixes this weekend I have to admit.😁😁😁 Easy groove!! 2 for the winner!!

Sad news about DJ Lisa who did the set next to Easygroove in this set she passed away last week……..she did a lot of gigs with easygroove over the years in the 90’s

Totally agree brother, I'm 46 and still gives me goose bumps. I had the Ratty tape from the same night and bro, i frapped it to holy fuck and Yh, it was like it was rehearsed with the mc'ing, they just hit there mark every time, not much random butting in out of tune with the music, here they just smashed it . MC ID and Robbie D who's my face ever. The dogs nuts. Take me to the top, take me to the top, take me to the top!!!! Call the confusion!!!

I remember traveling from Glasgow to this in Exeter in two vans full of enthusiastic "cheesy quavers" . The huge inflatable octopus atop the stage was at "Heaven on Earth" in Northampton. Happy days !🙂

Yep ,an absolute legendary set from a legendary dj ,at one off the best warehouse raves ever , I was lucky enough to be their ,and it was never beaten 😀😀😀😀

I'm 43 now and was raving for over 20 yrs. Even warmed up for Carl cox at howden in 94. But this has got to b 1 of the best sets ever! There's some good shit out there but this tape takes some beating!

@@gangstar8652 Lots of people agree with you guys including myself. Producer and Tanith sets were legendary. Fresh, different and mind expanding. A flavour of what the Europeans had been enjoying at that tine. One of the reasons The Technodread was so memorable was that he wasn't afraid to throw everything at the ravers; Hardcore, Jungle, Techno, Gabba, the works. Anything to get the party jumping and the energy through the roof. The charm of the scene at the time was that encouraged a musical democracy where anything went and was welcomed by the broad minded revellers. Minimal pretensions, maximum enjoyment. What I feel many people forget these days is that the DJs and producers at the time had a wealth of musical knowledge and experience to draw upon. Many were influenced by Soul, Funk, Reggae, the Acid House movement. They understood what made people tick and were pioneers standing on the shoulders of giants. It's easy for people now to dismiss this type of music as naive but it really was anything but. Every generation has it's Golden Age and this was ours. Long live the Headstrong!

Jem 77 - Never Felt This Way (Hyper Mix) (1992), although I still prefer the Detroit techno mixes from that era more, Obsession - Derek May, Colin Favor, Dave Angel etc.
