31 years ago I met my cousin at this party......both of us living miles away from one another and not knowing we was both attending having the time of our lives. Nice n easy lemmon squeezy ❤

Many sets that were great at the time but when I revisit them they don't stand the test of time but this set is always a joy to go back to no matter how long it has been. I personally think this is the best set of all time.

Sasha absolutely slayed this set! First heard this in 1993, Still blown away! 29 tracks in under 90 minutes, y;all! Sasha threw it down!

This is one of THE classic Sasha sets.of all time..We played it to death. Gives me goosebumps hearing it again. Awesome.

I remember this like it was yesterday. One of the best sets ever! Remember everyone around me losing it when he dropped ‘closer to all your dreams’ and ‘rocking down the house’ perfect timing. Also remember dancing with the St Johns Ambulance people at one point. John Kelly also played a blinder that night. So glad I was there. Happy days!

I used an adblocker and youtube audio ripper to extract the audio ad free and cleaned it up on my DAW. There's loads of free programs that'll do it. Perfect copy.

I went to this and it was my Birthday haha, many west country mates who I met for the first time the week before at a free party greeted me with Birthday cards as I got through the entrance of this Universe rave, that was mad!. A few names I would like to mention are Titch, Boyd, Chalky all from Stroud and loads of others from the West country, ace people!

a full DJ set on a 90 min cassette is highly unlikely but I get your point. Those 90 min Sasha tapes are etched into my being. Just makes me sad that i'm so old and never going to experience this again. Not suggesting i was at this rave btw. But i was "at it" back then. Deffo the most well known mix tape of them all. You dont even have to specify. Just say THAT Sasha tape and everyone knows. Sasha must buzz off of how many people know and love this.

OMG - those were the days! This was definitely one of the most memorable sets I ever got to experience - partly due to the excellent Joe Peng - Nice one , man! One of the unsung heroes. "Sounds of the Summertime!" And of course Sasha goes without saying - one of the best DJs of all time. Funny thing was - as far as I knew - saw him spin plenty of times - he was a progressive DJ - not really a garage DJ - which imho makes this set even more special!!

Listening in 2018 and this set is still kick ass!

Still and forever one of the seminal house sets of the era.... stands the test of time and JP was the ONLY mc to ADD to a house set!... was there for this set.it was a beautiful set amongst absolute madness! #PLUR. 💜🔥💙✌

Mad set. Mad times. Blessed to be part of it. Living in Bath made the Universe parties like playing a home game!?! With Fantasia, Dreamscape etc being the away games.....This all happened in such a short period of time that had an impact that still vervarates to this day. That was how strong this coming together of a like minded people, that only wanted to live, love and dance, had become. So strong that laws were implemented to try and destroy it. If only they could see it for what it really was. But instead, call me a drama queen if you want, but I feel the seeds were sown for an unrepairable damage, (to that generation 100%), but also to the future of British society in general. Was it a coincidence that the hard Class A's then infected and started killing like a plague shortly after? I think not. I, myself, being a victim. And untold damage to my nearestz and dearest, myself and my future aspirations due to addiction and jail, for the next 25/30 years. Only recently have I wrestled back my life to something resembling a life worth living. But those years are gone. And Im now in my middle age. Well, physically anyway. In my head and outlook, Im still very much like that very young teenager, stomping around in some farmers feild, in the middle of nowhere, middle of the night, surrounded by people Ive never met, completely of my head, having the time of my life and probably never been safer with virtually no risk of anything bad happening to me. Because that geezer or gal next to you, who you don't know from Adam has nothing but love in their heart for you, a stranger theyve never met also. Bless party people. X
