30 years ago!? Played this set to death on my Walkman as a kid and can’t stop listening to it now.

Gotta say that this was the first time i had heard of DJ Producer. Me and a mate had just walked in the tent and this was playing, we had dropped a few double D's about 20 mins earlier and started coming up just as we hit the tent! What else can i say, best 2 hours of my life. Today's youth don't have a clue about what they missed.

This set /sets cemented for me at the time. - hardcore. There was a lot of good tunes which weren't in the charts at the time. Dance music was truly born. So much mainstream shit about then. This brought it back. I gave it to a get away from school guy when we had a disco. Came from the stix but there was another school class on the same trip from near Glasgow. Bunch of dicks didn't like it, wanted to hear geena g n chart shit. Turns our living 100 miles away from Glasgow didn't actually mean you were behind what was going on. Dick heads from paisly loved all the chart piss that was going around at that moment. Always loved banging tunes, old or new. Hardstyle dicks, just go away will ye? Its not really hard if it's styled on hardcore. Original hardcore like this. Ffs, happy hardcore didn't even exist when this was out

All the junction 17 crew (chippenham, goldiggers crew) new what producer was about. This set just blew it up. But it has to be said. Goldiggers chippenham was one of if not the greatest clubs during the very early scene. Some of the greatest nights of many peoples lives were had in that place in chippenham. It also has to be said that, there was and probably still is all these years later some exceptional people that live in that town. If any of you read this remember what we did remember the times we had. Remember the bond remember the love remember the joy.

I’ve lived in Chippenham for 46 years, went to Devotion. Best club ever. It’s a hairdressers now and guess what it’s called……. Yes “Golddiggers”

Had this on cassette!!! Not heard this in over twenty years, oh my it still sounds as I remember….just a brilliant set.

He cleared the dancefloor at an oldskool event I went to a couple years ago playing stuff well past the cut off point of 1994. Bloke's a bit of a bellend sadly. Some of my favourite sets are from him bitd but he's not on Producer's level and doesn't hold the same respect either.

Still to this day 2019 it’s an absolute banging set. History in the making

Into Orbit! Was a warm up for . Mind Body Soul! Which was a warm up for Tribal Gathering! And i went to every one! 18 years old in 1992!

One of the great things about YT is you can find all these old sets you used to have or actually attended. I was 21 and went to this rave as I lived in Bath at the time. Lucky in many respects to have gone to this and many other paid and free raves. Of course at my age now don't do any of the crazy things I did back then but this set does bring back good memories of those nights!

The best event of 92 alongside Fantazia at Castle Donnington or the madness of Castle Morton possibly....certainly the best for DJ sets.....can't fault any DJ set all night......maybe Hardcores finest moment in History.......this was full on Techno at the time.....a stompaz paradise.....Nice one putting both sets together properly too m8 👍👍👍😎 !!!!!

@@timsquires416 I know what you are getting at but for a spur of the moment event it was incredible how pre mobile phone days the grapevine worked like a military machine drawing thousands in before the first mainstream media news did the rest of the work..... the actual logistics involved was excellent....... the fact that several different sound systems were in close proximity didn’t help with the clarity of the sounds but the atmosphere was electric and was totally free.... not to be sniffed at and it’s a part of dance music history that I can say I was there...... peace love unity respect ✊✊✊🌈🌈🌈😎

I am so glad to have been there and all the scene from 90 onwards, kids really do not know what they missed!! The MDMA back then was just different to what you get today, even if you get something quite good, it's just not as lifting, it used to make me feel like I had helium for blood and walking on a big cloud!!! And everything looked beautiful!!!! Just fucking amazing!!!

Yes this was my youth!!!

I took this recording to a school canoeing trip and they played it at the disco haha. Class. No drugs but was good to hear on a bigish soundsystem 🤣

I fucking loved industrial techno as it was called at the time the sounds of factory machines grinding ! The kids loved it man.

Twelve hours dancing on the same spot, a foot away from the sound system.. missed coach home and went back in.. Anyone else notice that when rollin reptiles was played all the cheering stopped and everyone was strangely dancing like mad? Was uncanny...

Wow it opens with Dyewitness - Observing The Earth ... the first techno track I ever got on vinyl in 1992(?)... Love

So amazing, wish they would play this on R1 just to show the kids how good dance music was before it became pop.

​@happyonheat He headlined at an event I went to. A 94 cut off point rave full of old heads. He then proceeds to play d&b from any old year whilst the dance floor clears. Promoters were not happy. Nor was I. I was hoping for some old style free party Acid Easygroove. Him and Robbie Dee seemed more interested in promoting their brand than sticking to the vibe.

Great set. For those who were there do you remember one of the front speakers blew halfway through. No women allowed, what a tune.

I love to read people's memoirs of raves that stick in their mind, I missed this one but I did arrive up on the cliffs at Newquay on a summer evening with about 10,000 people with Sen Fontaine dropping Mauro Picotto Lizzard , it was going up, lazers beaming across the masses of people huge soundsystem then the break comes in and those classic chords just timed perfectly with the Mitsibushis I'd been snacking on during the journey down and then .... someone fell off the cliff. However the show went on. After that finished there was another illegal rave about half a mile down the road in a little cove, that went on for about a day and that was the last great rave of the 90s. Not quite the 95 reactivate nights that I begun my raving days with bit still it was an absolute banger! ... Happy days and now my 18 year old describes the "rave" nights that he goes too and I find myself waiting for him to get to the good bit but it never comes! A time gone by.

we had this cassette around 93..in our local park sounds pumping taking doves drinking flaggons bouncing around the shop🤣 fucking love it👌🏻
