Bro, your a life saver. I've wondered how to do this for ages. It makes arrmaging souch easier. I like to manually place my drum samples to add and subtract certain elements at certain points of my arrmagement and you just helped me so much. Legend 🙏

yes. this is the right way to do it You can just keep your normal workflow but just remember to split the channels at the end. It doesn’t take that much longer

when i do this my drums hits in the channel disapear

It doesn't work! It shows "Splitting only makes sense if the pattern contains at least two channels that have data". It doesn't create separate clips. I have no idea how did you do that. I have FL 21.1

If your drum samples are on their own channels in the step sequencer, it would split the channels, then you could go further and select all channels and assign to next available FX, and each sound would be on their own patterns and mixer channels. However, you're absolutely right, it doesn't split the MIDI drum channel note data by note value into separate patterns, which is what would be useful for splitting the drum parts from MIDI files. I find that best to assign to the FPC with Multiaudio Out, so each drum is adjustable by the mixer. Further than that, manually selecting the piano note at the left side will select just that note, so just the kicks, cut and paste to new pattern, select snare note cut paste to new pattern, manually slice it vertically.
