Exactly. And if ur anything like me, and you tend to recycle the same sounds, the saving a few presets in FPC is just a no brainer

Can you do 16 level velocity with FPC?

How do you delete it off the piano roll when you mess up the map entire notes bank part and need to start over?

How would I create individual playlist tracks for my drums using the FPC?

U can assign the FPC to multiple different playlists even tho it will only occupy 1 space on the channel rack. The way I do it is I create 1 instance of an FPC and let’s say I drop 3 different perc sounds into 3 different pads. Then I’ll create 3 different patterns in the playlist and label them perc 1, perc 2, and perc 3. When I go to record, while I’m inside the piano roll, I’ll make sure that pattern “perc 1” is selected and I’ll make sure that the FPC is my target channel. But of course, I’m only recording pad 1’s sound onto that pattern. Rinse and repeat with the other two

How would i record without it mapping over my other notes. for example i put down my hihats, then if i wanted to record a kick ontop it would just write over the hihat pattern. would i have to make them seperate channels? feels like im missing something.

surely you've figured this out, but to those reading this who want to know, in the group of buttons to the right of the tempo is one that has a keyboard with a plus sign next to it '+'. It's called 'Blend recording (overdub)' or press ctrl+b for a shortcut. This will add midi notes as you record and not delete what was there before.

How did you clear the stock sounds out of the bank ?

Actually, I was wrong: you have to have the pad selected and then press DELETE in the section that is to the right.

I use a sampler..... And FPC lol

Sampler is def goated! When I used Reason, they had something similar to FPC that I used religiously and unfortunately, FPC isn’t as easy as that one was, but still, FPC is top tier MPC-style drum machine

you dont record it directly in the fpc plug in, you record to the playlist.
