if your usb pins are touching grounded case then it won't turn on, straighten pins then unplug all the xbox360 cables including powerbrick from wall for 3 minutes, good luck 8^)

My 360 died about a year ago and was just thinking about replacing it, and for some reason decided to look and see if anyone else had the same problem, after watching your video I looked, and what do you know, usb had some bent prongs, so I straightened them, and God said, let there be xbox. Hey bro nice video, but I have a question when u turned Xbox 360 on in 4:26 my Xbox 360 is on and the power supply is green when it's on. But when the Xbox 360 is on it doesn't do the circle Green flash like in ur video in 4:28. It only starts but just stays dead green.

Kudos! I tried a new power brick because I had an orange light. Straightening one of the 4 USB pins saved me a trip to the local GameStop. Now I can return the additional power brick. Thanks!

I just checked all the slots and it still doesn't work. I think something is wrong internally as when I try to give my xbox power the little power symbol flashes 1 with a green light then the supply brick goes red. I think something may be burned out inside my xbox :/ Help if you can please!

I don't understand. My controller ports are not damaged, yet it doesn't come on. One day I was just playing my game then it stopped. My xbox wont come on at all and I tried this. My wires and my adapter light still works it's yellow. Sadly, neither my turn on button (controller and xbox).

My old Xbox won't turn on and when I push the power button the light turns red on the power supply. I can use the power supply on another Xbox and it's not hot at all. I know the problem is not the power supply or outlet but with the console. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hey, I have an xbox 360 Elite that won't turn on for shit because my stepbrother had plugged in a usb 2.0 memory stick inside the front panel's usb 2.0 port. I havent tried this technique yet, but if it does fail would you have any suggestions? Thanks for the video and any help would be appreciated.

make sure all the individual metal strips are not touching each other. They can touch against itself. Half of them i unbent and other half were bent touching against itself. Didn't think it would work but it did. As long as they don't touch the plastic and i think only the outer two on each usb port are the ones that matter...not sure but after 10 minutes of messing with it i got it to work... THANKS!!!
