This is such an easy install, I don't know why you wouldn't do it! This adds carbon fiber to your engine bay along with a washable air filter, and can change performance as well.
Easy install with a few simple tools listed below and you are ready to do this yourself!
Required parts and tools:

T-20 torx driver
2.5mm, 2.0mm allen wrench

Other than looks, does this set up helps enhance the performance of the vehicle, or would it have to be paired with a straight down pipe or something like that to actually increase hp and torque? Im sorry idk much about this stuff, I’m just trying to figure out what mods will actually help my car to offer a better more sporty ride. So far I changed the rims for ultralights and the run flats for regular ones and it feels better. I’ll get some bigger brakes installed soon too. But id like the car to feel and sound a bit sportier without coding it, or at least not coding it too aggressively. Hey thanks for reading, this carbon fiber intakes look awesome tho

Serge, great questions.. so the question if intakes add power is an endless question with lots of opinions. Sometimes they do, which has been proven with tests, sometimes they dont which also has been proven. Intakes like this I see with 3 features - Appearance - they look cool. Sound - they often increase intake sound and can be more aggressive sounding. Power - this point is debatable, so I assume power changes are nominal at best, and IF there is more power its small enough to not be really detectable anyway.

Interesting! I have a '14 F56 with a cold air intake. Do you think this intake is better/more efficient than what I'm running? I've always had concerns about how much hot air from the engine compartment get sucked in. This seems to avoid that. Thanks!

Well I cant comment on what you are running now, as I don't know what it is.. but this is an excellent design, and the box should help shield engine temps.
