This is going to be my schedule to battle Mealybugs because there are going to be multiple generations of the them at any given time.
1) Spray off as many as I can with water & remove any adults or egg sacs
2) Spray with Alcohol, Water and Soap Spray
3) Visually inspect everyday for at least a week, manually removing adults
4) Spray with Neem Oil 1 week after the alcohol spray
5) Check every 2-3 days for new ones, manually remove adults
6) Spray with Alcohol, Water and Soap Solution 10 days after Neem Oil
I will use this schedule up until I feel it’s no longer necessary and hopefully just get to the point where I’m only spraying once a month or less.
