One thing to consider when wearing cold weather gear with a helmet is the seal of your ear-pro. I have permanent hearing loss in both ears from years of combat. Although I always did everything I could to protect my hearing, the cumulative effects of extremely loud noises will take its toll on anyone in this line of work. Whether you wear a fleece cap under your helmet or an integrated cold weather liner, you are placing a layer of material between your ears and the ear cups of your headset or ear-pro. This will reduce the factory NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) of the device and expose your ears to damaging decibel levels. In these circumstances it is important to double up your hearing protection by using in-ear buds (such as foamies or pass-throughs like the SureFire Sonic Defenders), or integrated hearing systems like the Ops-Core AMP with NFMI ear buds. Doing so will ensure you maintain the highest level of hearing protection while staying warm on the battlefield.

TO EVERY ONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM GETTING IT ON THE RAIL I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION,where the philips head screw is on the mounting part of the headset is undo it and the mounting part separates into 3 pieces, take the piece that actually mounts to the rail spray some lubricant on it and the rail then gently tap it down the rail with a mallet (not a hammer) get them both in the same spot on eather side then put the other parts back on and screw it together again done. Takes 5 minutes

How do you even instal the arc adapter to the headset? Feels like i rip the headset apart removing the irons.

I have this mask that goes on the arc rail barely works with these is the TMC half mask, There’s enough room on the ark rails for both but you have to screw around with it to get both to work. If there was more room on the ark rails this wouldn’t be a problem.

I have the issue of my arc brackets not being tight enough, can’t get a good seal at all

You have the MOD3, it’s the latest model they released, the ones with huge tabs are the older gens, MOD2 or 1, wouldn’t recommend them though.

I strugglet with my mod 3 for an hour or so but then eventually i got it to move. Dont be afraid to punch the something out of it. It works better with hard strokes

my mod 3 were too small for the arc rails so im about to replace the rail mounts with actual peltor comtac ones.

Just bought a pair of these today and I don’t have the tabs that adjust the headset. Also when I try to install it to the rails it gets stuck in the first position and can’t go any further. It was also very hard to take it back out cause it was stuck pretty good

@@jwairsoft6911 hey sorry for the late reply but I actually went back to evike and they happily helped me get it in. They actually had to use a hammer to tap it further into place. My suggestion at home is to try using oil and a hammer. If that doesn’t work just try using your hands to push it in. If you can’t do any of those just bring it in to a local airsoft shop and they’ll help you.

Say you were running the 6mmproshop face mask mounted to the arc rails, would you be able to use the railmounts for the Ear pro? Is there a way to bend it and fit it on the back rails?

Mine keeps popping out from the rail every time I try to put it on. It's frustrating.

Exactly what happens to mine. My left always pops out when i put helmet on. I have to get a mate to reconnect it to the helmet after putting it on.

Sk3ptic Surg3 i bought a second set of rail adapters that fit onto the top side of the rail instead of sliding in the rail. Much much better.

I bought a pair from you guys and I sure as heck don't have a tab like yours to move them along the rail. Hard as heck to get past the first slot. Came in from the backside and still not easy to move. Make a video on moving the mic from one side to the other. Can't get the tab to budge on that either. Beginning to think this is junk.

Finally got the mic moved. There was a piece of the plastic on the attachment point that was blocking it from popping off, also got it to move to the 2nd slot on my rail. Wow, what a chore that was.

I have a question the headset doesn't sit tightly on my ears it hovers above my ears anyone have a tip about this how to get it tightly on the ear

Good headset, but be warned you need some adjustments so that you can wear them on a FAST helmet otherwise they will be too tight.

@@Twiggy163 I just bent the wire framing outwards until it was a comfortable fit. It's a two person job. One holding the helmet and the other doing the pulling on the frame section. Worked for me but if course it's up to you whether you do this or get another rail connector

I got mine to fit by putting engine oil (didnt feel like going out to buy WD40) on the rail and rail mount, stupid tight but the oil worked well with some light tapping of a small mallet on the mount.

Do they make them in bluetooth?
