Toby ..You don't know me of course..I spent Feb until June this year in hospital.. I woke up with tunes everywhere and couldn't move . Slowly I got back on my feet etc... My point is..Agreed with the watching fishing.. Mine was the ginger fisherman and Carl and Alex!!. I didn't think I would walk again leg alone get back on the bank but I did and I am and so will you...All the best in your recovery Toby!!.

Yea really enjoyed that Mark, I’ve been a little busy with other things to get out however winter creeping in and it won’t be long now till my favourite time of the year, that was a cracking chub buddy especially given the time of year too ... thoroughly enjoyed this and can’t wait for the winter adventures..... 👍🏼

Another very enjoyable video Mark and what a great result from a short session. 6.2 lbs, that a belter of a summer chub! I’ve had a few sessions on the Wye this summer stick float fishing for barbel with reasonable success. Also had trips to the Trent and the Severn.

Cracking angling mark , I enjoy my short sessions in the dark for chub when the days are short, My Fenix headtourch came today very nice thanks for the recommendation I also got the landing handle you featured , nice back up in my van All the best Mark Tim Ps my best chevin is 6lb so that is a belter

I can't find your reply but I seen it in the notifications and one thing about recording the wait on a bite is people will fast forward through that which is bad for algorithm and will lower your views. I know this because I use to do the same thing. It very much is apart of the fishing experience but not the KZread experience. I clicked on your video to see that fish that's in the thumb nail and I'm pretty sure most people will say the same. I know this because I use to record the waiting on a bite part and did research on what happens to a video when people fast forward through spots

Precisely I like to sometimes use a bow in the line to take the water pressure.

Where does this rod fit in with the Darent Valley and Drennan ultralight mini feeder.

I would say it has more back bone into the bottom section, but it was actually bought as a part replacement for my drennan mini feeder as I broke a section on that due to slipping on my bike the other season and still waiting to replace said section.

Yes I waited due to the type of bite, constant taps and although it looks like i am watching the tip i am also watching the front of the line, this fish was being sketchy suck and eject suck and eject, so it was a case of wait a little bit and hit the best tap possible.

Very much a sliding scale of time Chris, I judge by watching the rod tip for movement as you usually cannot mistake a slow crayfish pull and hold, however at times here I had the bread on for 10 to 15 minutes
