Early Christianity on: The Perfect Goodness of God the Father

Is God always good? Is God perfectly good because the definition of good is God's very nature? Which is greater: God's sense of goodness or God's sense of justice?

I love your videos. Can you make one on Eusebius? I'm very interested in him because of his unique perspective as being a master of all that was written before him by the pre Nicene writers. Anyway if you are able to make one on eusebius it would be very much appreciated and beneficial to believers. Thanks again for your amazing work.

Thank you so much for your kind words. And thanks for the recommendation about Eusebius. Yes, Eusebius is one of the greatest Christian writers because of his dedication to Christian history. But because Eusebius lived after the Council of Nicaea, which is outside of the scope of this channel, I have no plans to make a video about him. God bless!

@@PostApostolicChurch Understandable: but if you ever exhaust the pre-nicean subject or expand your scope, please remember Eucibius who acknowledged and promoted the pre-nicean writters.

You should do a video on the Book of Enoch

That is a really great idea. I have learned that the Pre-Nicene Christians did not consider Enoch to be Scripture. But it is obvious that many of them had read it. Maybe one day I will make a video on Enoch. God bless!

I know Tertullian believe that 1 Enoch was inspired and defended it in one of his writings.

@@rambles1789 You are correct. There are at least two places where Tertullian says Enoch is Scripture. It appears that he was on the only one who believed it was.

Why do it says the perfect goodness of God the father? Any woman pray to him? He is good if he refuses and unspeak her. Why does she needs a relationship with him? How?

are there any post-apostolic writing in which we find the people in the early church practising tithing to support their church?

  • @PostApostolicChurch

No, the early Christians did NOT practice tithing--as it is preached today. One day, I plan to make a video on what the early Christians believed about giving money. In the meantime, here is a great video that explains it VERY well. (It is an hour long.) kzread.info/dash/bejne/qZN8p8dyfpy-lto.html

men and women of God can be mistaken. forget what people (even godly people) say and see---------what the Word of God says. And it came to pass that the angel of the Lord met him by the way in the inn, and sought to slay him. and Sepphora having taken a stone cut off the foreskin of her son, and fell at his feet and said, The blood of the circumcision of my son is staunched: Exodus 4:24-25 LXX (this was Moses that was the target of the angel of the Lord) And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him. Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me. Exodus 4:24-25 KJV (sidenote, some have made the connection between the angel of the Lord and the LORD) Why would the LORD want to kill Moses? While Moses was oblivious, Sepphora/Zipporah knew what to do and Moses was spared. Think about the mess King David would have been in had he listened to those around him, who had his best interest at heart. Even Nathan, the prophet of God told David to go ahead and build the temple. After which, was instructed by the Lord to inform David that one of his sons would build the temple. (see 2 Samuel 7) I could go on and show verses of scripture that sound like "thus saith the LORD", but are rather what some man of God said. Oh, it will sound very spiritual, but it's not what the Lord has purposed. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things and the Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.
